Chevy, am I safe to flash 5.3 over 5.1 without a data wipe?

Its advisable to wipe 1st, otherwise you may not be able to utilize any of the improvements that Chevy has done to the system.

Also when you wipe, your less likely to experience various issues/corruptions that may happen otherwise.

Ah, you got to it before I did! But yes, always do a wipe first. You never know WHAT I changed.

When you "mount SD card" it will actually mount both (MOT and SD) at the same time.

I'm trying to execute the radio hack and every time I plug my phone in Radiocomm doesn't recognize it.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Chevy love the rom but recently when im typing a message on the physical keyboard it will stop registering that im typing text and instead it seems to open a shortcut beginning with the letter i press....E.g. when i press "m" it will bring up "messaging"...any ideas on how to fix this or if its a rom install issue or hardware malfunction

ewing happens all the time to me. Just hold down the magnifying glass for a second and it'll start working again no problem =]. no need to reboot

Keyboard backlight constantly on

Just installed the new rom over 3.0 i think i had. are the keyboard lights supposed to be on even in light, cuz mine are. is there a setting for this anywhere?

There is actually a flashable version of the Radiocomm Hack over on XDA

I'll have to find it from the web, the Tapatalk app seems to be lacking is a robust search tool. All I find are things I don't want.

(It's possible I don't know how to search)

Depends on what Launcher you are using. Try Apex, its what I use and it supports scrolling wallpapers.
