[Release][Theme] Golden Elegance for multiple ROMs.....

I'm at work, so I'll let someone else have the honor of testing this port, and posting a review.

Well, since no one else posted a review, here's mine. This theme ported very well to the latest Simply Stunning rom. It looks and feels identical to what you've seen on the other roms Kook has ported it to. The only issue that I had wasn't with the theme, it was with the SS rom. The color scheme for the notification dropdown screen is preset to too light of a color. On the UD rom, you can put in the exact color that Kook uses elsewhere in his theme - #ff660000 - and that solves my problem, but SS 4.6 only gives you a choice of "red" (too bright), "yellow" (too light), etc - no gradient color wheel that you can experiment with to get the exact match. Not a big problem, but one you need to be aware of.
Overall, I'd give Kook's port to SS 4.6 thumbs up. Good job!:clap:

Do you guys think I should theme GE for ADW Launcher or LauncherPro?
I think LauncherPro is the more popular of the two - but I don't use either one, and I may be completely wrong on that guess - so that would be the one to theme. Wait and see if other people check in with differing opinions.

I would vote for Launcher Pro, as that is my preference, but I know there are many who like ADW...

Kook, you could just create a poll and let people vote on it. There's lots of polls, for all KINDS of reasons, that go on all the time around this forum.

I've been a G1 user for over a year now and just switched over to the Droid w/ Verizon. I've rooted and installed Sapphire and now this wonderful theme. Thanks for that. I have one question though...How are you guys changing the color of the text for the time and such in the upper bar...it's the only thing I've not been able to figure out so far.
Well that was the point of my earlier post (last night) - Ultimate Droid's rom allows you to use, in the "user interface" area of the settings, a kind of color wheel that you can try to come up with the exact color you want for any of the text in the notification drop down screen. You make the changes, reboot and there they are.
Chevy No.1 has on his Simply Stunning 4.6 rom a similar setup - but you can only choose a color, not the gradient wheel that UD provides. I anted a kind of maroon color for the text (#ff660000, to be exact) but was presented with the choices of "red", "yellow", "blue", "black' and so forth. I found it to be a less than satisfying resolution to my problem and switched roms, back to UD 5.0.1. If you're less picky than I am, either of those two roms will give you a degree of control over the text color, but UD's is more precise.
