My market should be the latest version on my theme. Is it not working for you guys?

It could be working i dunno. I forgot to try uninstalling all the markets all over the place in system and data 1st.

Per Cake's request because she is sick. Here is a themed rom version with UD2.5.0. Wallpapers.apk, live wallpapers.apk, smoked wallpapers.apk and fancy widget.apk have been deleted. To make a little more room in the system. You may delete others in RE yourself to make even more room if you know what your doing. But This will get the entire theme and UD2.5.0 on for you. I have included a new themed keyboard and updated gmail to v2.3.2 for Cakes. Also will make Pandora a separate update.zip for those that wish to install a themed Pandora.

PANDORA Not included in rom version

RAINBOWS UD2.5.0 THEMED ROM

You can probably use clockwork but I have provided instructions for SPRecovery below.


Instructions for SPRecovery:

Always! Make sure u have a recent FULL Backup first.

Download ROM ZIP Below

rename ZIP, "update.zip"

Place in root of SDCard

Reboot into Recovery

*Make a dataonly backup-[select backup+restore/advanced backup/ set backup name/select only data option/perform backup]

Wipe data and cache (I do it 3 times)

Choose Install

Choose allow update.zip

Install update.zip

*Next restore “dataonly” backup-[select backup+restore/advanced restore/ select ur dataonly backup/select only data option/perform restore]

reboot

Market is force closing on me when i try to dl or go to my apps.
This happens with the themed market or a seperate market 2.2.7 apk.
Will try the full themed rom that was just posted and let you know

Is working fine for me. I'll try to help. Okies, if your market was broken before you installed that is probably it. Once your market is broke you need to flash a backup to fix it.

Restore a backup to when market was working as it should. . Make a new dataonly from there. Where everything works! Then try to reinstall following instructions.

Others have had many problems with the new market as well. There isn't really a reason why would be working fine for me and not for you other than your market is broken.

Hope you get it figured out. Cakes should be around later or tomorrow hopefully.

I ended up removing the new market and installing the old version of the market. everything else is working so ill just have to stick with it for now
