[ROM] [ROM][AOSP][4.0.3][CDMA] Gummy 0.9.0 - 03/24/12 - The Remodel!

This rom is awesome...great battery life and smooth as silk! Came from Revolution and this runs far better!

P.S. Im also running your Xoom ICS build and enjoy it so far as well...keep up the good work man - Thanks!

So I let my phone sit off the charger overnight to complete my drain to 0% - final tally: 22 hrs battery life; 2 hrs 30 minutes screen on time. 4g on the entire time.

Best battery life I've seen so far. Most other setups I've run were getting between 8-12 hours tops. I've never gotten over 14 hours. With this rom, the phone actually sleeps when idle! Nice work Kejar and Imoseyon for the rom and kernel work.
No disrespect but I don't see how you can get 22 hours of battery life on any ROM. You must not use your phone much. I consider a little above average user someone who talks on the phone at a minimum but does a lot of emails, has some few widgets, uses the browser a little above average. With that a good ROM should give you 12-16 hours or so. If you add more GPS and a lot of 4G load you may get less. I bet some really good ROMs will give you a little more.

Full charge, then took it off the charger at 10am. Light to moderate use for the whole day. Went to bed with 10% left and left it off the charger. When I woke up at 8am, I had 2% left. Stats said 22 hrs, with a screen on time of 2 hrs and 30 minutes.

About 9 of those hours, the phone was completely untouched as I slept. This proves to me that this rom/kernel combo has the deep sleep I've been seeking. I'll add that I have great 4g coverage where I live, so my phone isn't searching all the time. If I had been on wifi, there's no doubt in my mind I would had reached a day and a half of use on a single charge.

Thanks for explaining further. For me the stats that I really want to see is how long it takes the battery to drain when the phone is being used on an average. I understand putting the phone to sleep will make the battery last longer but when I talk on the phone, search the web, use GPS, tweet, email etc. and the phone dies in like 5 hours then I know something. Stock was just awful; I would see the batter die right in my eyes as I used it to do anything. I'm thinking about trying this ROM.

I urge you to try it. I've tried several over the past couple weeks and this one has given me the best results so far. Just make a backup, if you hate it, then flash back.

I don't know if this helps but when I had 10% left, I was at around 13 hours of normal use. If I had continued to use it, I probably could have squeaked out 14 hours. If I can manage between 12-16 hours of use per day, I'll be happy. You can't expect much more out of the current technology we have. The nex-gen LTE radios are supposed to be much more forgiving in terms of power drain.

Yeah I think about to. I'm on Axion now and the battery life is way better than stock Thank GOD! If this ROM is even better then I can wait.

Do I need to factory wipe to install this ROM? I may anyway since I always do but just wondering. I'm at work! Haha

Update: Just saw that you must wipe Data. Was looking for the word factory and missed the data part.

Since we're using this ROM's GAPPS; should we also update them via the market or just leave it alone?

I'm in the process of getting the phone configured so it's going to be eating up a lot of battery so it's plugged in but once the phone settles I'll report my findings and do a comparison to Axion 2.3. BTW do you have any idea how to fix the gmail synch issue I'm having? I have been unable to synch my main email account. Email just won't synch although my other gmail accounts synch up just fine. I've deleted and reconfigured multiple times and even with new Roms I still can't get it to work.

I hate to point out the obvious but do you have these checked off?
