Looks awesome, not big on the new position of the lock sliders though. Is it going to be an update that can just be applied or will it require a complete reinstall?

Awesome! Got 1.3 installed!

Not so awesome... e-mail force closes when I try to open it so can configure my work e-mail. Normal gmail works okay though which is odd.

Edit: yay! Just did what Fab had mentioned before and its working now.

Can't update to 2.3.340

I'm runnubg apex 1.02.1 and when I downloaded attempted to install the ota update it loads halfway and reboots into apex. It then says update failed, any ideas on how to fix this?

Use the Rom Manager from Koush to install the Stock ROM (Search the Market for Rom Manager). Then install the system update (probably have to D/L it again). After that installs, install Apex 1.3.

If anyone knows any easier way let him know, but thats how I did it. It's the only way I could get the Verizon OTA to install. The OTA won't install over a custom ROM, it needs to be the stock 2.2.315 image. At least that's my understanding of the issue.

I can confirm that this is the easiest way.

Do you get an error or anything? That's the way I did it and it worked fine. Mine installed pretty darn quick actually, I hardly noticed it happening. Check your system information to see if it installed. It would say VZW in the build field.

You could try deleting the cache, wiping the data, and installing the Stock 2.2 image from the Recovery. However, I doubt that would work if the ROM Manager way didn't.

There is always using the SBF to get back to stock and then installing the update. That's definitely more of a hassel in my opinion though.

I have a back up to stock but is says md5 not matched and it reboots into apex. I get an error halfway through the installation and it removes my root access.

Anybody know why I would be getting this error when trying to add a contact. Im on 1.0.2.2 with the GB theme
