[ROM] ||ROM| |AXI0M v2.4 | |APEX V5 KERNEL | |1/6/2012|

I'm getting better battery life on 2.2 as well (I'm using Batter Calibration too). I'm new to over/under clocking/volting. I have set CPU, but I'm not sure what setting to use for the various profiles. Can someone share with me what they've set theirs too?

Just got 2.2 setup just how I like... will we be able to flash without a wipe?

Read it. Several times. Also been flashing ROMs for 2 years with my D1. Sometimes updates from a ROM to a newer version of the same ROM required full wipe. Sometimes not. I know switching between different ROMs it was always best. OP says if coming to 2.1, full wipe. Nothing about 2.2 or 2.3. Then goes on to talk about hating puppies. If you want me to infer that 2.1->2.2->2.x doesn't require a wipe...

Edit: I'm an idiot and an a55hile before I have my coffee. My apologies.

UPDATE Instructions (FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS ONLY IF YOU HATE PUPPIES, DO IT AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION!!)
  • Download the ROM
  • Wipe Cache and Dalvik
  • Under Mounts And Storage Format /System
  • Flash it!!
  • Boot and Hold On

There was no attitude, but here ya go! read it very carefully. i say carefully because you said you have already read it several times.

As long as you make a back up before flashing anything new, you can try to get away without wiping data. If that doesnt work, restore the backup or wipe everything & start over. No need to get worked up about it.

Actually read it more than twice and I honestly missed the part where it said if upgrading... I think I was distracted by the whole hating puppies thing (that doesn't even make sense) my apologies and thank you for putting up with me :-/

it's fine, what the op means is you're doing everything at your own risk. the full wipe is just kind of an extra assurance everything goes smoothly. :happy3:
