DEFINITELY NOT!!! I'm averaging over 24hrs of battery life (Extended battery) with normal everyday use. I'm absolutely loving it. Every time I flash a new version i have done a full charge then used the app "Battery Calibration" (Free on market) to clear the old battery stats. Then from 100% run the phone to 0% and it turns off (at least 24hrs later) and then turn it back on and charge it back up to 100%. I have been having great battery life with both 2.1 but especially 2.2. Also i'm using setCPU to underclock to 180mHz while screen is off. If you are still having bad battery life it is probably an app or something screwing it up. I call operator error on this one and maybe check battery usage from system settings and see what's sucking all your battery juice.

I do check. Since I've been on 4.0.3, its been Android OS hogging all the battery. On stock 4.0.2 it was always the screen killing it. I haven't set any profiles and have been using default SetCPU voltages. I just now switched my SetCPU voltages, so we'll see if that makes a difference.

I'm still having other issues with 2.2 though. I just realized that GMail isn't syncing; I have to manually sync it. Reception seems a bit worse than 4.0.2 as I previously mentioned. And the "bars" no longer turn Blue. I will still have data, but it looks like I don't. Camera is no longer zero shutter lag lol. There are a few other things I'm forgetting too. I'm going to have to flash 2.3 and hope these issues are fixed, or else I think I'm going to try a 4.0.2 ROM.

I mounted storage, then formatted system or whatever those 2 commands were. Then I clicked install update zip from sd card and now the android has a blue sphere spinning in his stomach but there is no text below. Is anything going on? Is it stuck? What to do? It's been about 2 minutes

I always seem to have a problem download dt roms. Is there a mirror. Tried from phone and pc...download button does nothing for me.

Well I decided to hold both volume buttons and the power button then it brought up recovery. I selected reboot and it's stuck at the google screen. Sure would appreciate some direction. Looks like a battery pull might be in order since it's been stuck for 5 minutes. Suggestions?

Thank you very much. I wanted to wait until I received some direction because I was flashing a ROM earlier in the week and pulled the battery too soon so I had to return to stock...lesson learned!

It wipes everything off your phone except the contents of your "internal" SD Card. All your pics/music/videos are safe and whatever else you have in your SD.

If you want to backup your texts, I suggest downloading SMS Backup & Restore.

Alright thanks. I wasn't sure if the texts got wiped in the data part or the system part. I went ahead and used gosms to back them up this time but I will probably switch to that app next time.

If you're having errors download, Clear your caches and reboot. New site and the DNS may be showing old. Just got everything back up. Links for Wallpapers and Modded launcher are in the OP.

It wipes the directories that do not come on the device (at least it did that for me). All my pictures/videos/ringtones/music were fine. But the extra directories for apps were gone, and directories I created myself were gone too.

the Server is not handling things well. There are many mirrors in the OP.
