[ROM] ||ROM| |AXI0M v2.4 | |APEX V5 KERNEL | |1/6/2012|

Okay now I've turned the screen off three times in a row and it won't turn back on. I had light flow blinking once but couldn't power the screen on. I've spent more time pulling the battery than ever. Changed setcpu when screen is off to 700 min but that obviously didn't help

There have been multiple reports of Light Flow causing that. :)

dont overclock

There really is no need for setcpu unless you want to undervolt. Interactive X on IMO kernels have native profile for screen off/sleep to underclock to 700...so you dont need a profile for it at all.

Its already undervolted too..so personally I dont feel the need to push it anymore than it is. It runs fine as is. IMO...delete setCPU...reboot...dont use setcpu.

I see. That's good info. Thanks. I Didn't realize I was overclocking. Since the max is 1420 I thought I was underclocking. I don't know how to phrase the question but What is the stock speed?

That's just great :-(. I didn't have that problem with a different rom so i'm not sure what I will do because I like yours better. Maybe disabling setcpu will help ( crossing fingers).

I see you are from mi also. Any chance of a red wing theme!?

Edit: interactive x helped. I just want setcpu for if temp gets too high really

stock speed is 1200. Each phone is different. My phone can handle 1350 and undervolting more, but i see no noticable gain in performance or battery life, infact...seems snappier to me w/o undervolting or doing anything. Also, when I undervolt, it seems like the lockscreen takes longer to popup after pressing the power button.

Thought I'd share a screen.

Loving battery life and the rom is great dt!

IMO kernel automatically has that profile for screen off....its built into his governors...no need to create a profile in setcpu.

is anyone having issues with MMS on this ROM? I get notified that i recieved one but when i go to check it i only have text, no picture.

Not certain, but I believe that set cpu temps are battery temps...unless the kernel has built in temp monitoring.

Honestly...the only use for set cpu on the nex as of now is overclock (which in my opinion doesnt need it), undervolt. Profiles have become pretty much a thing of the past. They used to be pretty important on the D1 mainly because that phone was clocked at 500mhz stock...and a lot of folks were clocking it at 1+ghz....so of course it would overheat.

There shouldnt be any heat probs on the nex. Ive plugged mine into mhl/hdmi converter which charges at the same time....stream a movie I rented in HD off of the android market to my TV....no skips (as long as others in the house arent sucking my wifi router at home lol)....streamed flawlessy. Phone got warm to the touch...I didnt bother with it...just let it stream. The D1 wouldve probably melted or skipped every 10 seconds. lol.

Typically the electronics are rated for ~170 deg F. so...you should be okay.

In my opinion having the set cpu service running all the time (using battery and resources) is not worth the "benefit" of undervolting or overclocking.

I think some folks just like to piddle and tinker. :)

yes. this.

i only use setCPU for the voltage section. Profiles are not needed anymore. there's probably a better app for just messing with the voltages but hey, i already bought setcpu lol

loving this rev so far. keep up the great work.

btw..where are all the links now? Looking for some softmods/battery mods link. i can't find it.

Fyi..the battery mod in my screen is my own....wasn't an option in mods so I made it myself from a previous gb rom I had themed.
