does anyone know if there was a changelog? or what they did to build 18?

it's working great for me, i'm just curious. Really pleased with the work being done. Since build 16 my pandora has been loading and connecting about 2x faster than it was before. less time between songs as well.

Change log is always here...it was huge on 18, but a lot of stuff on other devices, including Samsung Galaxy SII support:

18 boot looped for me a few times and then booted up ok.

I'm getting random reboots on build #18. I've had one today so far.

First post btw, I usually try to find out my info through search, but anyway, been likin cm7 so far, anyone else get a reboot turning screen on sliding the keyboard? If I enable volume keys to turn on it works fine, but sliding the keyboard reboots every time. (Nightly 18). Build 16 worked fine.

Is there a thread or a page that discribes the cm settings in more detail. I'm inquiring about auto backlight and some of the performance tweaks. Can anyone shed some light on how to utilize these functions?

I wrote up the auto backlight settings here, should help you out:

CM7 AutoBacklight Settings - customize your phone backlight settings

Look in the Cyanogenmod wiki for info on other settings...though the documentation can sometimes be a little sparse. Might be better off Googling the setting you're interested in, that's how I gathered the info for my write-up.

no issues with 18 here either.

18's been fine for me as well since it booted up.

Urbanbounca, you may want to boot into recovery and wipe all your caches, battery stats, etc.

If you continue to have issues (and others don't start reporting problems), you can see if they are resolved by flashing the next nightly, or you might end up having to wipe data.

This sounds like it's verifying an issue w/landscape lockscreen...there is a fix coming in the next nightly, it appears:

Update - aside from duplicating the slide keyboard/reboot, I also had a reboot after receiving a text a little while ago. So I am seeing some flakiness in 18 as well.

Roger that, I was at work, and couldn't get on the sites (gov't computer). Thanks for the replies! I'll wait for the nightly and see if that helps...if not, I'll go the data wipe route, just installed CM7 the other day, so I haven't populated too much back onto the phone.
