Update - aside from duplicating the slide keyboard/reboot, I also had a reboot after receiving a text a little while ago. So I am seeing some flakiness in 18 as well.

I was able duplicate the slide open reboot as well.

Me too. It gives a hot reboot, not a full reboot.

Is anyone having the brightness bug i mentioned earlier? It's annoying. No matter where I set the level, it will stay until I put the phone to sleep. Once I wake it, the level jumps back to 100%. I'd feel better if someone could explain! Thanks

I figured I'd run Quadrant on my D2 after reading the D3, GS2, DX2 comparison on Droid-Life. I overclocked to 1300 and I'm using CM7 nightly 18. the image below is the best of three. WOW! By the way...the best at factory settings was 2549. Still very impressive I think.

Yes, I have noticed that as well...this morning when the alarm went off it was bright as hell, and it didn't change until I hit the brightness button. Also, I have to hit the button for the keyboard to light up. Minor issues, I am really enjoying CM7. I'm sure all the little things will be fixed soon.

you have to get the correct d/l for the droid 2 global...I have seen discussion about it, so I know they have one...

I would suggest cm7 for the global. I could instantly see the phone was faster, but there are still several bugs (alt lock doesn't work - hit alt twice- and the camera isn't working correctly right now)

Man, build 18 has been a steadily worsening mess for me today. <eek>

Had several reboots, some boot looping during reboots, and one time it got stuck on a black screen w/haptic keys lit up. Been very interesting!

Going to wipe before loading 19 tonight to start fresh...clearly I've crossed over some threshold of doom ;-)

Same Here Redflea. My phone has been rebooting and my wifi is not working on my phone. I hope they address these issues for the next build or else go to build 16.

There wasn't an official 17, but Rev made an unofficial 17 and I was on that before I went to 18.

ok so wen i put the newest nightly on my fone, what do i need to do for it to run properly? is there anyway to make it run properly without losing all my contacts, themes, and home pages? i have it exactly how i want it and dont want to lose it again
