I'm curious whether we can take the keyboard mapping from Fission (or another ROM), and use it. The keyboard is fully functional in Fission.

I'm sure there is a way! I know I never had problems on liberty any of the liberties. Or fission, or any other many roms but that tanginite or whatever. Right now its only keyboard lighting and alt lock. But hey I love this rom right now.. I am thinking about liquids its the only one I haven't tried... but I am unsure how clean it will be coming from All in one!? Lol

When I flashed my first nightly it happened. The keyboard backlight. Then while trying to fix, I somehow shut the charge light off...lol alt lock is usual I hear..

Yeah, alt-lock is a known issue. Right now it's not fixable, because they had to use the config from the Droid 1 (which doesn't have an alt-lock) to get around some other issues.

I actually had fairly respectable performance today. 10 hours of running time since full charge, moderate usage, and 50% battery left. Not terrible by any means.

I did the battery calibration and installed Juice Defender and left it on Balanced and it seems to have helped quite a bit.

Today: 8 hours total. moderate to heavy usage (battery calibrated and juice defender active). Oh well

Thing is it was working fine before I flashed this ROM. I shouldht have to download another app and have it running just to get decent battery life. I love the ROM and Im not changing, but I really hope they get the battery issues fixed soon.

I used juice defender well before I started using this ROM. It's a great way to extend battery life even when you have a ROM with already awesome battery life.

Battery life is something that we, as users, have been reporting as much as we can, in hopes that the devs can figure out where the issue is originating from. Until we have a fix, all we can do is give our awesome devs as much info as we can.

Yeah love the ROM, just wish it had better bettery life is all. Dont get me wrong Im not complaining, Im confident theyll get it worked out.

I missed this comment earlier... the keyboard mapping from another ROM may not work the same, as this is Gingerbread running on a Froyo kernel. All other ROMs are either Froyo running on Froyo kernel, or GB running on GB kernel. This is a mix of both, and I think that's where things start to get more complicated.

So for past like like three nightlies when I flash over the previous I loose all my contacts and few apps including the market. And I can't re-install it either. Now if I sbf and do a clean install it all goes fine

Why is the gb animation while going from landscape to portret not included with this rom? I miss that from the gb leak based roms. Just a little thing. No big deal.

I don't think it will work without blur launcher.

It worked on all the gb leak roms (apex, zs, liberty) without blur launcher. Maybe it's a cm thing
