Love Swype...

@Redflea

You are a commenting machine. Ive seen a million post by you via here and rootzwiki.

Haha, thanks for helping those guys.

I will have to wait until they are out of alpha to try this out since my phone is tied to my company, and I need it available all the time (money money money moneeeyyyy).

I tried pulling apart several of the usb apks and can't figure out what the aosp version needs to run correctly. Probably just needs better eyes than mine.

Yeah...CM on the D2 has kind of gotten the juices flowing... :)

I believe they've fixed the USB issues - it works for me on the latest builds both for charging and mounting.

Yeah, i saw that it was working, but they have to display two usb notifications.

There has to be something that can be built (maybe from scratch) from the two sources.

I've recalibrated my battery and it drains alot quicker then it did with liberty or zombiestomp and I haven't messed with any if the performance stuff. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but it's still an awesome ROM

We think we found a fix for that but it just got merged with the source and wil be in build 11

also keyboard is still small but we modded our device overlay to *hopefully* make the keys larger

aGPS and autobrightness are still elusive ... these were fixed via hacking build 7 by metiCkOne and RevNumbers but we are having troubles merging with the source

build 10 -oddly didn't include Usb.apk our fix is hacky at best just push Usb.apk into /system/apps This will also be fixed via build 11

umm ... ok build 11 will be up sometime tonight

I really need a second device. I would not sleep and probably take a week off work just to work on this. I would promise a fix for atleast one issue... haha, i would just have a blast putting this together.

Ok. this may be a stupid question but is liberty gb in the android market? I got the free one yesterday to see if it would work.

The Liberty Toolbox (which is what I'm assuming you mean when you say you "got the free one") includes a ROM Manager that will download and install the Liberty ROM for you. I don't know if the free toolbox has the latest version of Liberty GB (0.8), as I'm using the donate version. If it doesn't, or as an alternative, you can get Liberty GB 0.8 from the sticky Liberty Gingerbread thread.

Whichever method you choose, you have to be on the rooted Gingerbread leak before installing Liberty GB. Since you are new to ROMs, please read as much as you can in these forums before doing anything, to make sure that you know what you're doing, and that you know what your options are if something goes wrong.

Ok, thank you very much for your help. Two more questions if I may. Where is the best place to get the gingerbread leak and how do I get liberty v2.0.1 off my phone now?
