[ROM] [ROM] Droid Concepts Froyo Releases [BETA versions]

The gps issue as odd as this sounds is a VZW issue ... my phone and friends phones of all types, rooted or not can't use navigation on vzw phones. Friends with sprint can. We called customer support and they know of the issue.

It was fixed for me for like a day and is once again broken.

The GPS being a Verizon thing is believable. Mine is working now and has been since 8/22.

It seemed to be dead the weekend before the 22nd and fixed for me on Monday.

Actually Google maps and navigation work fantastic and always has wouldn't own anything but a vzw phone and service.

Can I have the 3g icon fix please?!

I was having browser issues w/ version 10 all of the sudden after running the rom for months w/out any issues. Instead of posting a problem I was having w/ an older ROM I figured I'd update to the latest version and see if that fixed the problem. After an hour I had everything installed/restored then flashed the 3g icon fix you sent me many months ago and it sent my phone into a boot loop. How wonderful that I neglected to backup the damn rom before doing that. Sooooo do you have the 3g fix for version 12? Just to refresh right now the icon is very hard to see. It looks like something is there but it's white but you can't really see it.

Just reflash ver 12 and then the fix you were just provided. You should be able to get the phone out of bootloop w/o resetting everything up.

Good luck

be sure to reflash the google apps zip as well

I deleted something that I shouldn't have, tried to just reflash v12 w/o flashing google apps again and gmail, market, etc was gone. Flashing gapps fixed it, it was strange that they were there, then i flashed v12 and they disappeared.

Sigh...why is it that whenever I restart my phone it's started in airplane mode? This is a problem I had w/ version 11 I think it was and is why I reverted back to 10

It sure is. It doesn't happen all the time either. Sometimes when I boot all 4 bars will be red. Other times all 4 bars will be red and there will be a blinking triangle. I'm usually in the same spot in my house and 90% of the time when it boots I get a full signal w/ 4 full bars and 3g like I should, but other times not so much.

My battery icon shows a full charge, but it's at 90%. I read something about wiping battery stats long ago, but never did it. Is this something I should do to get the icon to be in sync w/ the actual charge that I have left? Maybe run it up to a full charge then wipe battery stats? If so, how do I go about that. I didn't see anything in the settings but am probably looking in the wrong place

I started wiping battery stats after changing roms. I do it after every build and every kernel change. What's amazing is I had started to notice my battery's highest mV (measured at full charge) dropping slightly, but after wiping stats, it was back to it's old numbers. I think 4176mV was/is the number.

I wipe battery stats from within RZRecovery, the same menu to wipe everything else.

Same here but am still using cwm. (Gotta try RZRecovery) Do you wipe the stats when it is at 100% or 0%? I always do it from a full charge but some say wait until it's dead.

Also, DC is definitely my Droids permanent/final home as it is the only ROM that hasn't made me want to smash the damn thing! Thanks again for a truly solid rom!

I highly recommend RZR, coming from SPRecovery. I wipe and flash on a full charge. I don't know the best method, but I charge my phone every night, even though it rarely gets below 50%.

DC rules!

Thanks for the response. Just downloaded rzr and flashed. So far I love the fact that I can keep charging when flashing/backing up and be oc'd! I knew I should of taken the plunge a long long time ago. I guess I was just too comfortable with cwm.
