[ROM] [ROM] Droid Concepts Froyo Releases [BETA versions]

I think I know what you mean, but wouldn't know how to fix it as it seems like a device/android thing in general.. I'll explain

My brother and his wife both have the iPhone 4, my sister has the Droid Incredible 2, If my brother or his wife send me a video sometimes it doesn't play, but if they email the video it plays fine, and I have tested it by having my sister send me in mms the video that was emailed, and it plays fine, same video but coming from Apple to Android it doesn't always work, sometimes it will others it simply gives me a black screen, and like I said that same video sent from another Android phone plays perfectly fine on my end. Its an odd thing, and I wish I knew about it or how to fix it, because I know it's not my device or the video... damn Apple.... lol

I get little issues with stuff my brother/wife send me all the time but never have any issues from regular phones or other Androids.. Maybe its just me or my phone, but from what I've seen since owning a Droid back in 09, Android and Apple don't play nice.. lol

So my question is does she have an iPhone? lol

That's what I was thinking too but she toted afterwards and asked me if I got the video of the newborn eating..........

Yeah. Sorry about that toted was supposed to b txted :)
Im not sure if she has a phone now but when we last saw her, they hard just received their android phones from virgin mobile so I think they are still using those. I found a post earlier that suggested that this is a known issue that was never fixed. Then I found another post that reinstalling the stock messaging app would fix it. Of course the link to the mms. Apk that was posted there is dead. (2009 thread) Do u think this could work in this situation?

1) Is there anything wrong with the stock kernels CPU temp reporting? Its showing wayyy lower than it is 31F and -1C. I use the same program on other ROMs and it is accurate.

2) If we try out another kernel, is there a link to the stock one to flash back without reflashing ROM?

it may work, you could give it a try, defiantly not going to hurt.

no link to stock, but the future stock kernel is going to be one posted by CorCor67, give those a try!

More likely the phone then the ROM...some kernels just don't play well with some phones...my phone hates and I mean HATES slayher kernels no matter what ROM I'm on. So far the CorCor DC ones have been working great for me

I noticed that my GPS wasn't working well this weekend with Droid Concepts (12) and also with Liquid GB (2.6).

I did a clean install of Droid Concepts but this did not resolve the GPS issue. With almost no apps installed besides GPS Status, it was still not showing satellites and fixing position. As an alternative, I am temporarily using Project Elite GB but want to go back to Droid Concepts. I made some searches of this forum with no luck.

I hope someone will help me with this.

GPS is driven by the kernel not the rom try a different kernel.
