I'm using v8 and it seems rocks solid. Thanks DC team!. I do have one issue though, I can't seem to get the rom to over clock my phone. I have to use setcpu just like in v7. I don't understand it...
I'm having that same issue. No biggie for me as I've always used SetCPU.
Here is a weird bug or hiccup or whatever. I was using the wired tether and turned on my wireless to check if any wireless access points were available to increase my internet speed. When I did, my phone went haywire and rebooted itself then refused to boot again. It would go through to the boot animation and just reboot again and again. I changed kernel from the stock P3 to Chevy1 1.0G LV and the phone was fine. I haven't bothered to try and duplicate the problem because I like the kernel I'm currently running.
Thoughts?
Its the LatinImegoogle.apk system app, had this problem on Sapphire 2.0.2. I pulled it from 2.0 and placed it into 2.0.2.

I am on 7 and plan to go to 8 tonight but another major problem I am having is I am a on-call firefighter and when we get MMS'd an mp3 of our dispatch and I click on it, the screen goes to the usual player and I can see the bar playing but I have no sound and when I adjust the sound using the rockers I get "ringtone volume" not "media volume" like I normally would.
Another problem is all day events in my calendar on agenda view have the same font color as the background, so I can't read the text unless I click on them. I have four calendar services I sync with, work email, gmail, a different work service and US Holidays.
This is the first time that I am going to try your ROM. I am coming from PE GB ROM. I downloaded build 8 from ROM Manager but its been stuck in the "MOTO" logo for the past 20 minutes is that normal? I wipe Calviks cache and wipe data... any ideas?
I've had this happen to me from time to time on different ROMs. I usually just pull the battery, then boot into recovery (hold "x" and power at same time).
I then, using ClockworkMod Recovery, go to the advanced and format the following: system, boot, data, and cache. I then clear Dalvik cache. Finally, I wipe cache/data (factory reset) three times.
Then, with this ROM, you must first flash the ROM itself. Then flash gapps. Then flash the optional apps, if you want them. If you flash gapps before the rom, it could create problems.
Try that and see if it works for you. If you still don't completely boot, Let us know.
