[ROM] [ROM] Droid Concepts Froyo Releases [BETA versions]

Yes, it works great once you replace current busybox with 1.18. 2 or lower like zepplinrox states in op! If you did it already, run script again and make sure it took.

What number from1 to 6 or 7 did you choose for the degree of multitasking versus supercharging ? Did you set it to run the second script at boot because this ROM isn't supported without running the extra script at boot?

7, yes make sure you run data file created after running 1st script as root and at boot

This is the first time I've tried the v6, is there a way to see if the setting took? I've done all the the run as root and reopened the script in /data to set at boot and run as root. Just want to be sure it took.

Reboot then run the v6 script. If the settings you used show up as what's running then it worked.

Follow the advice from here to check after using the script [Tutorial - Updated June, 30] Installing V6 SuperCharger with BEST config. for GT540! - xda-developers

Quoting from that link:

Step 7: REBOOT YOUR PHONE!

Step 8: Now let's take the test, if it worked or not:

Run the Script Manager again;
Run the script "V6-SuperCharger_for_Android-update3b.sh.txt". Do not forget, "Run as ROOT"
And see if it is exactly as picture below, if written "Launcher is .... HARD TO KILL!" and just above "NOTE: Current Minfrees = 6, 8, 26, 28, 30, 32 mb" its WORKING!

Does the ROM have init.d support? Using deprimed kernel I run primed and get a system has non-directory component error.

Doesn't appear so, no init.d folder.

Edit - Looks like you can use Script Manager to run it on boot as root, I just had to do the same thing to try out the SuperCharger script. Just copy your 20overclock file to somewhere safe and you can use the SM app to run it.

Got it. Thanks for the help and links! Definately seeing a difference in the multitasking. Poweramp doesn't shut down while using navigation anymore.

Are you guys using the SuperCharger script noticing any heat differences? I installed it, ran my phone for music like I normally do in the car and the temps went through the roof. I am going to disable it and test it again when I drive home from work.

ROMManager does have the latest, the way to tell would be as long as root works and you can load/save themes to/from your sd card from DCS then you have the final one, the first one didn't have root the second i forgot the component that allows save/load for the themes so if you have root but can't load or save your themes then you'll have to download the build 11 again and flash. sorry about all that.

So rom manager should have the latest as of now as long as we clear the download cache right?

Any way to tell if we have the right version?

This answered my issue exactly. Just installed the rom that was emailed...I had no root priveledges lol...while I did have it installed though I saw signal strength was much better! Can't wait to get to wifi to get the new one :) thanks for your hard work!!

I haven't had any heat issues using supercharger.

v11 running great here. One question: Is there a changelog anywhere?

I'm curious what changed in v11. For this basic user I haven't noticed any differences yet (and that's not a bad thing). Just wondering what I might be looking for.

Running this rom for the first time, loving it so far, thanks to everyone on the dev team!

one question though: I can barely see the "3g" indicator on the notification bar, is this the same for everyone else? Like it's white on white, any way to change this?

Use dc setting to change color of status bar or morph a new set of icons in.
