[ROM] [ROM] Droid Concepts Froyo Releases [BETA versions]

Can anyone else confirm whether the bluetooth connected icon is broken in stock install? Could have sworn that I saw a post about this but on search can't find anything.

if you are referring to the status bar icon, its not broken, there are 2 icons that represent it, bluetooth on, and bluetooth connected, both of which are grey i do believe in the stock theme

i can post a fix to turn it blue, or what ever you like, if that sounds good to you

Thanks for the update you posted. As an FYI, I can see the grey bluetooth on icon but when it connects it does not appear to change to the grey connected icon - it still shows the bluetooth on icon.

Im confused lol can you post a screenshot?

I love the multicolored themes like Galaxy (which I have on DC now) , and 928droid. The dialers were especially attractive to me.

Edit: I apologize ..just realized I posted this inquiry in the wrong section:-(

The links on the 928 page don't work. Do you have a copy of it?

here are some new bluetooth icons, download and flash the fix below i have attached the images so you know what to expect before flashing.. this is a stock framework just like is included when you first flash the rom, with the exception of the bluetooth icons

woodyman, feel free to include these in the stock framework next build if you like

bluetooth_fix.zip

I flashed this and then the 3g fix. 3g fix worked. Am guessing that one fix essentially overwrites the other? Perhaps one flash file w/both fixes is needed?

Also, I tried reflashing the bluetooth fix again to test my theory and a got a bootloop. Wiped/restored and tried again - same result. Could not get DC to boot after I flashed this.

you were able to flash the bluetooth fix the first time without problems? but it over rode the 3g fix, which is correct, i didnt even think about that..i just tested out the bluetooth fix and it flashed fine for me, im putting together a combined update with both fixes be up in a few minutes.

Wow - thanks! Flashed the file and both look great!

everything is in working order now? sorry for any inconveniences

Haven't had a chance to test the bluetooth connected icon (and won't til I leave work) but bluetooth on works and 3g as well. No need for apologies - beginning to understand why folks are flocking to DC!

yeah, dc is a great rom, great dev team, great supporters, and users

and best of all, still froyo :D

Hi guys...I just installed DC for the first time. So far so good. But I do have one issue. Hitting the Home button does nothing at all, whether I am in an app or on a screen other than the home screen. I have to either hit the back button repeatedly to exit an app or swipe to return to the home screen from another.

I've tried fixing this in the LP "Behavior Settings" screen and in the main phone settings but no luck. Anyone have an idea what's wrong?

That's odd. From the sound of it, it sounds like it might be a hardware issue, but if you haven't experienced this with other roms then I would guess that's not the case. I would try wiping data/cache 3 times, wiping dalvik cache, and reflashing the build 11 .zip w/gapps. Don't flash another kernel until after you boot up once to see if the problem continues. This may or may not work, but its worth a shot. The home button is definitely pretty crucial.

Sounds like you forgot to flash the google apps package located in th OP. Need to flash that directly after rom install
