[ROM] [ROM] Droid Concepts Froyo Releases [BETA versions]

Glad to hear. I find it useful to take the rom on my pc and use a file archiving program such as 7zip and remove certain apps that i would later delete from
/system anyway..then flash the rom

Question: I tweaked the ROM by removing apps in the ROM itself and adding the new Google Music, Market, Maps and Street View and then in the Gapps package by updating GMail, etc.

Now Titanium is reporting 274MB in system space of which 93MB is free and only 147MB in space for Apps of which I'm down to 86MB.

I am guessing that my tweaking the ROM resulted in this - what do I need to do to fix? or how can I start over and avoid this result?

Do I need to resign the zip file before installing? I didn't but it seemed to install ok.

Thank for the fix JayR83, as he said the two images are the same, I've been meaning to just transform a copy of the gray one to blue but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Can anyone else confirm whether the bluetooth connected icon is broken in stock install? Could have sworn that I saw a post about this but on search can't find anything.

if you are referring to the status bar icon, its not broken, there are 2 icons that represent it, bluetooth on, and bluetooth connected, both of which are grey i do believe in the stock theme

i can post a fix to turn it blue, or what ever you like, if that sounds good to you

Hey thanks for pointing this out, I will make sure I add these .ogg files into the vendor so it overlays and gets put into the ROM by default now, thanks man. :)

you even saved me time finding the files.. :p

Noticed in DC11 when docking and undocking there was no sound even though I had the option turned on under system dock settings. A log cat showed errors indicating unable to load the sound files dock.ogg and undock.ogg. So I downloaded each from the links below and put them in /system/media/audio/ui/ setting permissions same as the other sound files.

undock sound file: Undock.ogg
dock sound file: Dock.ogg

Docking and undocking sound works fine now.

I haven't checked heavily into this, but more than likely its one of the permissions that gets added to the ROM when you flash the Google apps, I can look at adding it by default, I was just keeping the AOSP and Google propriety files separate, I didn't do it intentionally just how it worked out.

Yes the home key function depends upon something in the gapps package not exactly sure what but ive experienced the same issue. and every time i had forgot to flash the gapps then once i did the issues were resolved

It must be something to do with Droid Concepts specifically, because, as I said before, in the past with Sapphire the home key function worked fine with or without the gapps package installed. Interesting nonetheless though :).

I can't remember but I'm pretty sure at one point 928Droid released his theme on the old Succulent Desire ROM sometime last year, can't remember for sure, but it may be here somewhere..

Think 928droid theme would work on DC?

Dc11 seems to slow down and get laggy after a couple days. Clearing cache doesn't help for very long.

Fix for dc12, or does my d1 just not play nice?
