[ROM] [ROM] Droid Concepts Froyo Releases [BETA versions]

that is odd, that you wouldl 50% without a signal, well the baseband is the same on all the builds which is something i can't control, but maybe it was just an issue with some VZW coverage or something, or maybe it wasn't getting signal in your pocket or something like that, im not sure..

VZW may be messing with signal coverage or something because of 4G?? i'm not sure, anyone else getting anything like this or other reports of a noticeable change in batter life on DC-B-11

thanks for the feedback, i'll check it out see if i can find a memory leak i may have put in or something, what specifically is the cause? if you can tell, meaning display, cell standby, etc.

settings>about>battery use

[although im fairly sure you know this by now.. :icon_eek: ]

Woodyman -
I love your ROMs but I have to admit that this last release has been using more battery than previous releases. Has anyone else seen this?

Thanks,
Brian
Thanks for responding Woodyman. I did look at the battery stats and Cell Standby is taking about 50 % of my battery and it says 50% without a signal. I've never had this problem with the older builds. I also updated cell towers *228 option 2 and it is still showing high numbers. Any thoughts?

status is this week, meaning Sunday at the latest... that's the best i can offer right now. lol trying to move as fast as i can. want it to be out either Friday or Saturday but Sunday at latest, that is as long as nothing unexpected comes up or happens with the ROM or otherwise.

wondering what the status of build 12 was looking like? :)

Yes You can read the reply I just posted if you wish,
http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-x-roms/162061-endless-loops-betas-4.html#post1656989

but yes I still support it its the only ROM from the DC team, because its the only device we currently own other than a D3. which is not yet rooted/romed.. :)

thanks for bringing this to my attention, glad to be able to keep the air clear of rumors.. :)

Woodyman, you are still supporting this rom right? Syndicate0017 in this thread http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-x-roms/162061-endless-loops-betas.html suggested otherwise. I'll probably flash this rom when I get the boot manager application.

I have been in cell standby a lot lately. Thought it was just me. I recently updated PRL too. Currently on version 52363. Could there be a problem with the updated PRL?

It may be, because I don't control the baseband, thats already premade/installed on your phone, it doesn't change with each ROM you use, so it may be the PRL or just service in your area, maybe there updating you to 4g.. lol

I'm not real sure man sorry about that. maybe update PRL again in a day or so

My D1 says PRL version unknown now, but I don't remember what it was before I switched. on another note though my PRL on the Droid 3 is 40078

It's not a big problem as my D1 is usually sitting in a dock most of the time anyway. Battery life has still been good even off the dock. Just thought it was odd that I was in cell standby over 50% of the day since I live and work in a very populated area. Looking forward to DC 12.

I'd say that prl is the culprit .. I'm on 52280 and I just looked at my cell standby its 14% all day on crappy service areas sometimes no service at all. I drive threw the woods alot ....

I've been without a signal 77% of the time according to cell standby, also at 13%. My phone is HORRIBLE in terms of signal. Drops calls often too.

I'm assuming everyone is on the newest baseband?
