I want to flash this rom in my D2G. What languages are supported by this ROM? There is Italian or German or French? Nobody knows? Can someone check if there is Italian language?

K so I'm finally planning on doing this tomorrow for my gf's phone. I'm opting to go for the the Rom Manager Free version so I wanted to ask if there was any separate download link somewhere online where I can download this D2G compatible Fission Rom(2.4 I believe right?). I want to just download it on my PC then transfer it over to the phone so I won't need to download it using the phone's 3G or Wifi.

I just flashed my global to fission. It sped up my droid and my battery life has increased because there is no more bloatware. Just make sure you make a backup copy and save one on your computer using nandroid. Hope this helps.

I also made donation, despite I am not using fission (I was hoping on the "fused" stuff to come on). I don't regret it and I appreciate the time he spent working on this. Hopefully, after a while he'll be back kicking out new stuff

I am very grateful for Angdroid's great contribution of fission 2.4.3 to the d2g. I donated long ago as well in hopes of an update . I used to check defuse's site and angdroid's twitter on a daily basis. I've finally stopped doing that and now I am just to the point that when and if an update comes out, I will find out about it here.

Team Get-r-done's romer has filled the void...at least for me. I'm enjoying liberty 1.5 and the new honeycomb theme atm. No sensors is no big deal to me at all and other than that everything seems to work just fine.

Is it possible to get the rotary lockscreen with this version of Fission? Just got my d2g from Asurion yesterday coming from a d1. It's very different and limited in roms, but the advantage is it's always fast

Does anyone else have a problem with their text notifications not taking them to the conversation of the person who texted? When I click "so and so" under the text, it takes me to the base page of the messaging app. This could just be the theme I'm running though - blackout w/ battery %

If anyone could help, that'd be awesome!

I gave up. For mods I went and got the incredible. The global now sits in a drawer. I bring it out when leaving the country. If you aren't interested in learning to dev and or have little to no patience, get a different phone.

I don't but then again I don't use the stock txt app.

I use Handscent as it lets me change the fonts and look of the txt.
The stock App is really not all that configurable.

Look into Go SMS. It's pretty nice, I've been using it recently.

I don't think there is any point in waiting on Angdroid for anything for us. He pops up once a month to promise that a release is imminent (as he did two weeks ago). Nothing has been posted on twitter since then.
