[ROM]Fission 2.4 Droid2 Global-Vanilla Generic Android-AOSP Like-Fission ROM Manager

I prefer this ROM to Rubix at this point. However, I haven't checked out 1.9.5. Seems quicker though. Also, the Gallery working is awesome.

So is this ROM only the vanilla Android one? Because I'm reading that people on this thread have black themes and third eye themes, but the titles says Vanilla Android... Confused..

I took the plunge today and installed Fission Rom and I have been trying different themes. Things are working great so far. I’m also using ADW launcher, no conflicts yet. There is one feature of that launcher I have a hard time living without. I use a favorite apps folder on my home screen. ADW gives you the option of closing the folder after starting an app.

After the installing the rom the first time I turned off the phone and then turned it back on after the M and droid animation the phone went into recovery. The phone has not done that again.

So after installing the rom, the first time, I signed into google and restored all my apps. Then I tried to install a different theme my FRM was not there. (duh!) I reinstalled FRM and tried some different themes. (I didn’t realize that google didn’t restore FRM after the first install)

Thanks again for this great ROM. Dont know how other folks can stand to use the phone with the stock Moto Blur...

Read your updated first post and the one item that jumps out at me is

'This ROM does not have SIM card functions yet so if you are using a SIM card then please do not use this ROM'

A bit confused, does this mean that the phone will not work overseas on a GSM network? I see in the setting menu choices for gsm, wcda etc. are they just placeholders? Thought I read in other posts that the phone is working with your rom on gsm networks.

Also just in case anyone is interested, restored original rom from Moto/Verizon, upgraded the phone and then restored 2.4.3. All works fine, new radio and kernel is all that I see changed. Cant tell any difference at this point as to what the update fixed.

Anyone know?

Yeah you would think it would be stickied by now as good as the ROM is. Although this being stickied alongside that Warning! Sticky would be kinda contradictory.

The roms are great. Can themes be used without a custom rom? I went back to stock but wanted to try the gb themes out. I am running the android boot animation currently without any issues

This ROM is fantastic you guys are def leading the pack. I love all the black themes and the keyboard on the thirdeye theme. The black and more black gb is what I am currently running. I love Fission !! Keep it going! Go global or go home.
