Calendar is fixed, video is fixed, white text on grey background is fixed and a bunch of other tweaks. I can honestly say my DX finally is running quicker/smoother than my D1 had on any custom Rom. There are still some small things that are being worked on, please donate to these guys and lets keep them motivated to further the development on the DX.

This will be a fission release. I've kept fission tweakless. Rubix will have more features. Im building this for a very stable Rubix base. Or maybe ill make it all one.. we will see what angdroid and I decide

Alot of these tweaks/fixes you can do yourself with Root Explorer, SSH or ADB. Just drop them into /system/app and set the permissions.

- Droid X camera - google BlurCamera.apk
- Calendar fixes (see earlier in the thread)
- Not sure about the 3g Hotspot, but I imagine this is similar?
- Call Log - pull Phone.apk from BB 0.5 ROM

I've got all of the above fixes (except for hotspot) running on my X.

I added the PowerControl widget to a homescreen and set the brightness control to 'A' (automatic) and that seems to have cleared up my brightness issues, too.

Anyone else having an issue installing the Street View On Google Maps app from Market? I keep getting an 'installation failed'. Not a big deal, just curious about this one.

Two things i would like an answer on, can someone take a pic and check the resolution that your photo is in? Trying to see if its true 5MP. Also has anyone got the Facebook app to sync your contact pictures? I find this feature very usefull.

On another note. Im not sure if its just my work PC or what but the page that he linked to donate is not working. Anyone else having a problem? Ill try again when i get home.

I've been told that SyncMyPix in the Android market works well for the Facebook picture sync functionality. Can't say I've used it myself, however.

This was the trick to fixing the call log problem. I pulled Phone.apk from Bugless Beast and dropped that in place of the existing one. (Used Root Explorer and then fixed the permissions, then rebooted.)

Voila! Working call log.

And I can confirm that your Calendar fix works as described above. Again, I used Root Explorer, not adb.

i pulled out the phone.apk from bugless FRF84BV04 and set the permissions and after a reboot i had no signal. i had to put the original back.

In addition to the other issues already mentioned, I found that Google Sky, Angry Birds Lite and Labyrinth lite would not install.

Also after I first installed it, I had to log into my google account twice before it stuck. Or maybe it took the first time, but went back to the setup screen while it synced. I'm not sure which.

Am I the only one with these issues?

I'm playing Angry Birds on it now, just installed Google Sky Maps, and both work great. I installed the ROM following instructions on page one to the letter.

Guys, remember. Anytime you load a rom after the first boot you should reboot at least one time. I bet alot of these issues can be resolved with a reboot.

Note to Devs, I would like to see a Reboot option put in the Long press menu, similar to the Cyogenmod's option.
