In addition to the other issues already mentioned, I found that Google Sky, Angry Birds Lite and Labyrinth lite would not install.

I'm playing Angry Birds on it now, just installed Google Sky Maps, and both work great. I installed the ROM following instructions on page one to the letter.

Maybe I did a step wrong. I'll go back and give it another go.

I actually liked the off centered lock screen but real hdmi has been off the market for awhile because all those smart evo owners can't read and 2.2 caused it to mess up the screen

I've always been so excited to get an aosp, but now I'm torn. I have been running Rubix Foxused .5 and have been loving it. It seems that going to an aosp, I will be losing functionality. Already mentioned have been the 8 mp camera only good for 5 mp, HDMI no longer works. And something that nobody has mentioned are the 3 microphones. Does the noise cancelling still work during phone conversations? What about using the camcorder. I'm no fan of blur, but it seems that some of it was necessary for the hardware. Will all these things eventually be worked out? If so great, otherwise I might be happier on Rubix for now. What do you think?

I understand from where you're coming. You can add back the blur camera (which adds back the camcorder) if you'd like; it'll work just fine. I don't know about the microphones, that's a good question. But, if I don't get any complaints, I'm not going to worry about it.

The only thing I'm really missing is the car dock (but I hardly drive!) and the multitouch zoom in gallery (but the new gallery is _so_ much snappier). I've replaced the Alarm with a market app (Gentle Alarm), and I imagine I could find a car dock replacement too.

Wow this is exactly what i have been waiting for. Im going to try it out this weekend. Ill prolly just wait for the new release.

Two things i would like an answer on, can someone take a pic and check the resolution that your photo is in? Trying to see if its true 5MP. Also has anyone got the Facebook app to sync your contact pictures? I find this feature very usefull.

On another note. Im not sure if its just my work PC or what but the page that he linked to donate is not working. Anyone else having a problem? Ill try again when i get home.

I've been told that SyncMyPix in the Android market works well for the Facebook picture sync functionality. Can't say I've used it myself, however.

I have been using SyncMyPix with no problems. I actually do not even have the facebook apps set-up anymore. Between LP+ friend feed and TweetDeck I have better interface than the Facebook app itself. Also I would run in to problems with the facebook pics updating, you can set SyncMyPix to check for new photos how ever often you want.

I can't wait to check this ROM out after the new update. I have been on Rubix Focused .5 for a week and am loving it. With the issues from the first release that are set to be fixed should be a great ROM to use.

i pulled out the phone.apk from bugless FRF84BV04 and set the permissions and after a reboot i had no signal. i had to put the original back.

My phone.apk is from FRG22DV05. I've attached it - rename it to apk, obviously.

Also after I first installed it, I had to log into my google account twice before it stuck. Or maybe it took the first time, but went back to the setup screen while it synced. I'm not sure which.

I ran into something similar when trying to log into Google Maps with my account - it's like the "use existing account" window got backgrounded for some reason.

The second time I tried it, it worked just fine and I was able to link my account.

I installed Angry Birds (full version) a little while ago without any trouble.

Note to Devs, I would like to see a Reboot option put in the Long press menu, similar to the Cyogenmod's option.

The only issue with it is.. we can't technically build framework or services from source without bootlooping. Those are needed to add that in. I'm trying to port the code

I'm having a problem installing angry birds in rubix as well, so it must be different issue

Possibly. Checking into it Mine has as well, but all my testers for my recent version said their battery life is twice as good as rubiX

@Drod....so since you're developing this fission, will you be developing another RubiX Focused? If so, what will be the difference? Fission is completely Blurless...what more can you do with Focused?

@Drod....so since you're developing this fission, will you be developing another RubiX Focused? If so, what will be the difference? Fission is completely Blurless...what more can you do with Focused?

Fission will be a base.. think of it as a new leak, without the blur. No changes, no tweaks, no optimizations.. I'm zipaligning it, thats as far as i'm going tweak wise.

rubiX Focused will have my full goodies, and then some. Plus, no blur. 145 MB Free in system is one of the goodies

Got another weird issue - can anyone else confirm this one?

In Gallery, select an 8MP image and hit Share. Use Gmail.

I get the error, "File too large to attach". This wasn't an issue on my leaked Froyo (I could email large images).

Is there a way to override this? It seems like this is a Droid carry-over, or a simple tweak somewhere.

The ROM is working beautifully for me otherwise!
