Would there be any reason for the super user permissons app display a toast message each time I open an app that uses root...such as setcpu or abosolute system

yea because the superuser 2.2.2 thats included it this rom SUCKS, i posted a download for the older in the battery life thread http://www.droidforums.net/forum/jrummy/65510-battery-life-lm-2.html

it could also be because in superuser/preferences/notification you have "toast" selected...

I'm running watermark'd and I can't change fonts. Tryied through terminal emulator and it wont change same with live wallpapers.

i just changed fonts (including the default font) through Absolute Systems Lith Mod edition.

i, too, am still having problems adding live wallpapers thru either Term Emu or Abs Sys. quite enough has been said about it that i'm sure JRum will fix it when he gets back from his cruise.

Having Google Maps problems too.

"My Location" is very slow, then puts me somewhere in Seattle, WA.. that's almost 3,000 miles away.

It also FCs when I go to layers.

Running Insanely Clean theme.

I've had the same problem. Using nav eventually the phone found my gps but maps fc'd everytime until I went into settings>applications>maps and cleared data then maps worked fine but same problem after reboot or after trying to go into labs or layers again. I'm using the gala theme. Other than this the rom has been absolutely great

Same here. I add all of my locations to a map online and then just layer is and pick the location to navigate to on the Droid. Force closes as soon as you hit layers. Ran fix permissions in rom manager and the allinonescript and it's still no go.

same problem here........ bummer. i need my maps to work. going back to cyanogen 6. had no problems on that ROM. once this gets all the bugs worked out ill be back! =)

not having any problems with Maps or location - LithMod/WMD is smoking right along...

I'm thinking about Removing the option to install LWP from within Absolute System, as jrummy has it in his script + I don't have any good LWP to add They just change the neural network, but with the new Neural Network LWP Included with the Rom where you can customize it, i don't see the need to change it(it being the default NeuralNetwork LWP) my 2cents..

from my fresh install of lithmod i believe the watermarke'd theme, from home screen i long press->select Wallpapers->Live Wallpapers->Neural Network and i have settings that let me change the colors, background etc.. that's what the lwp in goodies do, except i don't think you can edit the settings on them. They are stuck to one theme, and the default one with the ROM lets me customize already.

"Droid" Notification

Uhm, I know it's kinda dumb, but did the "Droid" sound get deleted?

for those of you missing the "Droid" notification, the zip attached contains the "Droid" sound as well as others. Simply add the ones you wish to SD Card under "Media/Audio/Notifications" and magically they will appear as an option again . . .

Is anyone having GPS issues in Maps with this? It seems not to ever find my location.

yeah several people myself included are.

people have suggested resetting permissions, getting a gps fix in nav, or clearing the program data for maps, but none of those things have worked for me yet, as soon as i click on layers or labs it fc's and won't open again unless i reset and clear program data again

i came from a wipe and clean install too ps

I too am having the maps force close issue using the Gala S theme. I think I might just try deleting the whole app and redownloading it from the market (just won't have the themed .png anymore then)...

Edit: I couldn't get absolute system to delete maps, so I used jrummy's built in allinone script (option 6, then option 9 I think) to delete maps. Download from the market then and all is good.

i did a restore of app+data in Titanium and all my settings are back and everything worked fine, instant gps lock and all the labs features back and layers

Hey all,

Im having some problems with my wifi on the new ROM and was wondering if any of yall would have some insight.

About half the time my home network wont show up at all. And when it does, it often doesnt connect, but rather goes through a cycle of "obtaining ip address" "disconnected" "remembered.." etc.

I have never had issues with Kangerade. When I am having these problems my computer is connected to the wifi network and everything is working fine.

I have not changed any settings on my router and I do have the latest firmware. My router is a Netgear WNR3500.

On teh phone I have teh regulatory domain set to 13 channels, but none of teh three settings seem to affect this problem.

Any suggestions are welcome, thanks!

This worked for me. No more FCs and "My Location" finds me immediately without GPS. You need to DL Absolute System Lithium Mod edition to remove maps this way.. scripts or whatever else can obviously also work.
