I SBF'd and im clean... wiped data/factory reset & installed rom & rebooted.
Now when i go into market to download something... i keep getting this triangle message and my apps wont download??!! Whats up with that??:icon_eek:

Did you get the ota update after sbf? Or did you use the .330 sbf? The rom is based off the ota update so you will most likely have bugs if not updated.

When u sbf before flashing angels rom, get the official update from verizon, just go to settings and updates. That's what we mean when we say the .330 update. Then go through the rooting, making a backup, and flashing. U should be good to go then.

The purchased ones will show up in there normally. The rest you will have to redownload more than likely. I reccommend getting an app called titanium backup. It backs up your apps to your sd card so when you change roms you can restore them easily. It also restores your data too. So if you are in a certain level on angry birds or something like that you dont lose it. It really helps when you switch roms

Stupid question, but should I sbf, update to the lastest OTA and then flash this? Or is it ok to just wipe cache/data and flash this? I'm currently running fission.

You dont have to, but I usually do if I switch roms. If it is an update I dont sbf unless instructed to. When switching roms I like to SBF just to make sure I start from a clean slate.

This has happened to me on other roms. Fission mostly, what seems to work for me is just hitting the back a few times then hitting power. When turn it back on and unlock ur screen u should be back at the home screen. Give that a try.

Yeah It's done it on both for me.. consistently... never fails to black screen. And I cannot hit the back button and if I use the keyboard back button and try it nothing happens.. So idk.. I guess I'll just have to run stock... It's quite a bummer. What themes were y'all on? I feel like my theme is disabling something during phone calls

From the sounds of it, this is the same issue I had, but I had it on Liberty, and stock 229 and stock 330, so I have, in my case, narrowed it down to a hardware issue. If you have had the issue on 2 different roms I would lead towards a hardware issue for you as well!

Yeah that's what I'm thinking.. I mean it works on the stock... so idk.

News and Weather app

First off, I love this rom. I came from Liberty 1.5 to AngelRom. I love having the sensors work again.

I see the alarm clock issue is known and easy to fix.

My issue has to do with the News and Weather app. I realy liked the one in Liberty which I found out was called Geniewidget.apk. I have downloaded this apk from several different places and I am not able to get it to work with this rom. I keep getting the force close message when I try to open it.

Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Its just a news/weather app. I stopped using those and started using weather bug and pulse. I get more news than I can handle so I would suggest not using your favorite widget and go with pules and weather bug. Just sayin...

You shouldnt lose anything. If you back up all your contact info with google and use titanium backup to do all of your apps. Only thing you should have to change is settings and homescreen. When you root, you dont have to do any wiping so just make sure you use titanium and make a backup through bootsrapper and you should be good to go without losing anything.
