[ROM] [ROM Release] AngelRom v0.6.2 5/12/11

Install an app from the market called Download All Files. After that then you should be able to download fine. Or download on a computer then transfer to phone via usb. Theres install direction in the OP for a reason ;)

Hey thanks for the help 13th. It fixed me right up! ;) and good point lol. BTW man, I just flashed your rom...loving it so far! Fast as can be :) one question though with regards to the rom, can I flash things from droidpirate (black status bar, notification icons..no themes in hopes to keep your speed mods) with metamorph successfully and without any problems or losing the speed hacks?

GREAT WORK BRO! :)

Should be able to. I havent noticed any changes. The only thing metamorph changes is the .pngs that the system uses. Shouldnt change anything in the way of functionality.

This is a great point, I have been using the fission gb black bar no transition theme for a while now. Would u suggest reflashing rom and using the mods mentioned above? Or is there a difference? Btw, its so nice to be back on topic. Just sayin...

Alright guys thanks for the help! Sounds like its okay to use mm. Good to know. Which leads me to wonder that say for example I flash a transparent notification bar and want to go back to how was when first flashed rom. How would I do that? Restore nandroid backup or re flash the angel rom.zip? Wouldn't have to clear data or anything right? Sorry for all the questions lol. Im learning.

You could do that or ninjamorph a different bar in. I believe the .png is called staus_bar_background.png and replace it with whatever one you want. Just make sure its the same name.

Here's a screenshot of what I've done to the stock angelrom with ninjamorph and rootexplorer. Its the pulldown half way down the screen to show transparency in network banner, and you can see the icons on the status bar got changed as well along with a bunch of other stuff like font and boot animation.

Yeah its all pretty easy but time consuming. I can send you a .zip of all the icons I used in the status bar. I used ninjamorph and rootexplorer. Ninjamorph to decompile framework-res.apk and rootexplorer to copy and paste .pngs and unzip and rezip the rom file. I asked 13th if it was okay for me to upload or send my version of the rom out just waiting on a response. If you want the icons pm me your email.

Stock ROM was being stupid so I'm trying this one out again. I am STILL having wireless issues.

13th, did you tweak any wireless settings? This is the only ROM I have issues with. It appears to connect but everything times out unless I let it sit for about five minutes.

The only thing i changed was the scan time for if it wasnt already on a wifi network. I havent had any problems out of it =/. If you want to try changing them then go int the build.prop using a text editor (the one in root tools works great) and then go to the line that says Wifi.supplicant_scan_interval = and change that to 60.

I might just take the damn phone back. The stability of it is a damn joke, and I can't see the wifi scan time fixing my issue. It sees the network, connects to it, but if I open the Market and try to do stuff, I get connection errors.

This morning it was acting weird on 3G...the market had two updates: go launcher and beautiful widgets. Go Launcher updated without a hitch but BW sat at "starting download".

Sigh...

Hey guys, just wanted to add I came to this rom about 3 days. I came from Fission 2.4.3, reverted back to my nandroid backup of .330 and cleared data, cache, dalvik, and batt stats. Then flashed AngelRom and everything went great. I haven't noticed any problems, the battery life is better as well as the whole speed and stability of the system. Thanks for this release and I can't wait to see whats in store for the future. Great work.
