restore not working
has anyone have any problems with restoring a back up of gummy with linear. I think three times i have gone through and tried to do a restore and when it is done everything is restored except NO SERVICE. Is there something different with this rom and or theme. Is there a fix for this?? When I have no service the only thing I can do is do restore of back up up clean 2.3.340 and go through the whole flash process to redo rom and theme.. quite a pain in the butt. i hope someone knows something on this or i will have to leave gummy alone..

I just installed this morning and so far this rom is awesome! I came from Apex -which I loved- but it felt a little laggy at times and had its quirks. Then I tried this and whoa! It's faster and smoother!
Just for reference and I know some people look down on benchmark apps, but I was running Apex and received 14.8-15.5 mflops in linpack and roughly averaged 1460 in quadrant after several runs. Now after reinstalling all the apps I had and set it up exactly as it was on Apex I get 16.3-16.8 linpack and 1540 average quandrant @ 1.2Ghz.
I do have a question though, is there a way to theme the Swype keyboard Black and put it on this? I prefer that over the GB keyboard and the white Swype keyboard ruins the clean look of this rom.
I will test this out for a little while, but def. donation worthy rom here! :icon_ banana:

I normally do let everything get restored through the market but only three apps would restore through the market on gummy. I might be going back to tranquility as it worked better for me.

Strange. I've flashed Gummy several times while switching back and forth btw ROM's, and it always automatically restarts d/l the 40+ apps I have. Hope ya get it worked out..
Thanks, me too. On another note, I'm assuming that HDMI out doesn't work on this ROM since it is blurless?
