Love the Rom but seem to have issues with the market updating apps. It finishes the download but never wants to install. Its with multiple apps not just one. Also the gallery takes forever to load pictures. Running .15 version never loaded the leak

I read somewhere here I think that there's instructions on using some of the great features of this Fantastic Rom. Can someone point me to which post?

The best place i have found is in the directions and first post by jrummy, he gives some easy instruction on how to take advantage of all the options he incorporated in this rom...you're going to be a while, there are tons of features. good luck...

Tried it, the camera opens, but when i snap a pic it pauses and says saving image, then gives options what to do with the pic, so i though all was well, until i went in the gallery and the file is blank. Theres no image. Opened the camcorder, pressed record then it force closed. I dont recall doing anything wrong when i loaded the rom. *sighs*

well depending on which version you loaded that could be the issue. i'm on 2.3.15 and don't have any issues. if you loaded the other version, 2.3.320, there should be a fix for the camera as i don't see anyone else having that issue yet. i'm sure jrummy will have a fix for you regardless of which version you're running.

you can go to settings/applications/manage applications/running...go to market, force stop, clear data and cache than restart the market. if you're near or have access to wifi i would enable that, makes things go way faster. i did that last night, fixed me right up...hope that helps.

edit: reboot phone after you clear data and cache.

I actually just experienced that as well. It actually FCs after or during the actuall d/l

finally got them to install before trying the clear cache. Ill do it anyways see if it clears future issues. Also forgot to mention when trying to add blur calendar widget you select the calendars to display click OK then nothing happens. Goes back to homescreen but nothing there.

where are you adding the widget, to home screen, or are you trying to do something else with the widget. i just click on the calendar widget in my app drawer and it opens the calendar...is this a custom widget?

I also starting having issues with the market. I had d/l's hang so I just canceled and started them over it worked. The other issue is apps started disappearing from the Market again on me, not sure why that is. Good example is z4root or did google pull it again for no obvious reason?

yes it's been in and out of the market recently.

well that's ok...just be aware you can no longer go backwards, so i would delete any backups you may have based on 2.3.15, you can also try several other great roms that are based on the leak, so no worries there as far as variety. there is also a system only sbf and recovery partition sbf floating around that you may want to pick up just in case. i'm still sure jrummy will have a fix for the camera and camcorder shortly, this is only V1 so expect some fixes. let me know if you need any more assistance...good luck

The calendar opens fine. I was trying to add a widget to the homescreen. When selecting calendar it prompts you to select which calendars you want to show events for I click ok it goes back to homescreen but nothing shows up.

**black bar mod added to theme section works on Rumm Rx. Also can be found in Rom Manager. Got it installed now no wipe works great**
