[ROM] Rumm Rx v1.0 - First dose of awesomeness ;)

FYI... those concerned about the leak, there is now a full SBF for 2.3.320.

Don't be confused!!! If you run the 2.3.320 full sbf you will still not be able to return to 2.3.15.

Probably shouldn't go here, but...
FYI... those concerned about the leak, IF the next OTA from VZW isn't the same thing as the 2.3.320 leak... then there are going to be lots of very unhappy people stuck on the leak.

Reasoning: The OTA is a patch. It doesn't replace files, it patches them... so if you go to the leak you will not be able to OTA even with a .sbf, because the OTA will be looking to patch 2.3.15 files, not 2.3.320 files. Until TBH releases a method to go back, those now on the leak will be stuck if the OTA isn't exactly the same.

NOTE: TBH has assured everyone repeatedly that the next OTA from VZW WILL CERTAINLY be 2.3.320
NOTE2: TBH has also stated that they have a work in progress, that MAY be able to revert people on 2.3.320 back to 2.3.15. (Assuming they get permission to release it (??))

Now, I'm sure I'll get flamed by the leaklovers for this, BUT, I still believe that information/knowledge is a GOOD thing, so I'm posting so that anyone on the fence knows that there are still risks, even with a full .sbf

I would NEVER take anything away from TBH/P3/CW/etc. Awesome work leaking the leak! And they DO put tons of time and effort into bringing everyone the latest and greatest stuff!

(I'm sorry if any hands were bitten by this post... :(

I don't think hands were bitten. People need to know what they are risking by using the leak. For me, I just hope and pray that the next ota is the same as the leak. If it is not the same, is the any possible way for future updates?

If the OTA is different from the 2.3.320 leak.. then the options for people on the leak are to wait for TBH to release a way to go back to 2.3.15, or call VZW and ask for a replacement.

It's always possible that other options will present themselves.. but at present those seem to be the options available.

I believe you have misrepresented us, never have we said that this is the next official, as that information is unknown.

But no one will be stuck without the abiity to be on the official firmware, that is what has been said. That may or may not include a way back to take the official update zip. Having said that I reiterate that NOONE will be stuck at 2.3.320, unless they chose to, and everyone who has taken this update will be able to (through some method) upgrade or move to the offical firmware version released by Verizon.

Who is CW and etc? There is only one group responsible for all the X goodness and that is TBH, I am a part of TBH so no need to thank me twice, even though I do enjoy being thanked twice. HeHe.

If I add email accounts to "my accounts" I get new email notifications but can't open them, nothing happens. On the "email" setup I don't see a way to add more than one email account. Also email that was read shows up unread a few times after.

you can use the individual email widget in your app drawer to set another email acct...

Im missing something, I see no option to add another account.

Thanks for the clarification P3. Looking forward to more things from tbh in the future!

My apologies for any mis-information.
Meant CZ, not CW. *sigh*.. that's what I get for trying to toss a post up at 3am. :S

The fact that the next OTA was to be the same as the Leak was from a source I trusted, and I guess I misread your post on MDW:
TBH & MyDroidWorld Strikes Back: 2.3.320 update **Must be rooted**
p3droid said:
This is not a release from VZW/Moto, but it is the exact files as they would have them.
As well as a conversation from a dev I trust thoroughly who stated:
5:56 PM
xxxxxx: Yeah but this will be exactly the same as the ota
me: [...] Are you sure?
xxxxxx: Positive
me: That they're going to release 2.3.320? and not 2.3.321?
How do you know that? :)
[...]
5:58 PM
xxxxxx: Cause p3droid told me :-) he wouldn't release something that would break or damage or rendor skmeones phone incapable
and yeah, but they're geniuses
(Yea, I HATE second hand knowledge.. but he was pretty convincing. I took it for fact. *sigh*.

My apologies to TBH (including P3,CZ,et al.) regarding the Leak being the same as the OTA. :(
Also, my apologies to CellZealot for butchering his .. uhmm, initials. bleh

The spirit of my post still stands, that there is a risk. The fact that it seems there is even more uncertainty as to whether the Leak is what will be released via OTA makes the risk that much more substantial.

If/When the OTA comes out, those on the leak will be stuck on the leak until a method becomes available to either return to 2.3.15, or to move forward to the OTA... neither of which are available currently.

Ice Breaker! :)
