Nitro, A Touch of Blue, RoyalBread, anything, really. Tried a bunch.

how are you trying to install? dont use rom manager...reboot recovery manually, wipe cache partition and in advanced wipe dalvik cache...then install zip from sd card

Nitro should work, though it was just updated for SC v2.7, RoyalBread will not wrk as its for AOSP not SuperClean, Touch of Blue should work for SuperClean as well

I'm holding the volume rocker (up and down) and power button for twelve seconds, which takes me to a blue menu. When I select install update.zip, it takes me to an orange menu, where I can follow the directions in the other thread, which you just gave me. The error message I get is in the Nitro Dark thread.

extract the .tar.md5 and flash in ODIN

yea extract it...it wont recognize in ODIN as a .rar....has to be a .tar.md5 file for ODIN

Tried that. Downloaded the update.zip, and the cwm-recovery-all.tar file. Now, when I go to blue recovery, and click on apply sdcard:update.zip, it fails.

So they got 2.7 cleaned up and rocking now? Coming from 2.5 all I need to do is just use the Megaupload link with the ODIN file install just like with 2.5 right? Just making sure.

Oh....almost forgot. Is there a way to find the memo app from the original stock ROM. I thought I found one, but cannot get it to install. I had a few notes in there I would like to get, but if not it is not a big deal
