[ROM] The Eagle Has Landed!!!! - Liberty 1.0 1/11/11

I installed the applethingy fonts when i rebooted now my phone sits at the liberty boot and goes no further? What do i need to do to get this working again.

How do i got about getting the word icons for for my dock icons to be in the text i want them to be in, without a picture?

I hear people talk of these Blank files, which im guessing is the picture, you pick your own font, and somehow make that your dock item...Is there a tutorial on this, or is anything different with Liberty?

Can i by chance load a font from the toolbox and do it that way?

Just photoshop your own and install better cut and use that to customize icons

Hi All,

First off excellent rom, I plan to make a donation when I get my paycheck!

Secondly, I've noticed some people saying they are using the SBF file or the other OTA zip to fully restore, then reroot etc. Is this method like the overkill method? Or should it be standard practice.

All I did was wipe my data/cache/davik cache. Just want to make sure I shouldn't be doing something else.

You'll have to install a.photoshop on your pc or laptop and figure out how to use it. Im still trying to figure it out. I use adobe photoshop. Then you have to save them to your sd card. I save mine under pictures and then I open better cut. Choose your shortcut and click change icon. Select the image you just photo shopped. Then drag it to location on desktop

First impressions? I'm a pretty big fan of gummy jar. Will I be more impressed? I like the lightest possible ROM, and better then average battery life. With superpower and gummy jar, my batter life is terrific.

This toolbox seems like it adds a bunch of bloat (albeit some of it cool). Is this as fast and efficient as Gummy Jar 2.5?

Your icon size can go up to 96x96. PNG format if you don't want a

square background and JPEG if you want to take the easy route. Just like

detoX suggested, you will have to get use to the program, takes time to do,

easy once you have :)

I don't understand this. Adds a bunch of bloat? How? It's essentially scripts and resources that aren't running, but just waiting for you to use them! This is just as fast, if not faster than Gummy Jar. While there is the toolbox, there are also Liberty Settings in the Settings of your phone.

Loving Liberty, faster than hell and I LOOOOVE the toolbox.

With the default contacts and the AOSP Contacts that I downloaded via the toolbox, the ring tones still don't work for individuals. I wish this was working. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

You could try WhoIsIt for assigning contact ringtones.

Ah, thanks for the information. I had the wrong impression of what the toolbox was. I know it's been a day, but can you report pretty good battery life?

Look into GIMP. It's free and can save in PNG's. Photoshop is quite pricy, or quite the lenghty torrent. Gimp is just as good if you don't know what you're doing either way.

You should also look into text icons on google. There are a whole bunch of packs you can get for a dollar. May save you a lot of time...

The liberty toolbox is an apk with about a 1 mb footprint so I can see where the "bloat" would come in :P
