pretty sure wy contacts is pre installed.....

Mine had regular contacts installed. When I tried to install Wy Contacts, the pre-installed contacts icon disappeared in the app drawer, the dialer no longer worked and Wy Contacts never showed up. Had to reinstall the original contacts to bring then back.

Yea, think wy is the default install. If you go to settings you will see about at the bottom. Aosp doesn't have a settings option. They are both themed exactly the same and at first I didn't think the add-on was working. It is.

This ROM is amazing!! But I just have one problem. . . . Everytime I use the pull down editor in the Liberty App I get no service after rebooting my phone. Im also running the Linear theme. If someone could point me somewhere to fix this, id greatly appreciate it.

Just boot into clockwork recovery and re-install the Libertyv1.0.zip (the ROM)... it will restore the system apps. Do not clear data/cache, no reason if you are just re-installing the ROM over itself.

Also interested if they guy that was still on 2.3.15 got upgraded and the ROM loaded. We're a community here to help and I wanted to make sure he was ok.

One more thing... can someone tell me where to turn off the dang "Checking SD Card" notification... it used to be in Sound settings, but I can't find it... it drives me insane... if its been taken out... can you please add it back in to v1.1

Is anyone having problems with audio playing in the system movie player. I have an avi movie and video works but I don't get audio. I don't have stagefreight enabled and rockplayer works fine.

I just loaded up a vid I had on file and sound and video both worked great

Custom ringtones are a known issue - were a problem with GummyJAR as well... Hopefully they will be fixed one of these days.

has anyone had any issues with the charging LED on the side of the phone not turning on when charging?

I'm pretty sure that there isn't a charging LED on the DX. It has been talked about since the DX was introduced, so you're probably SOL on that one... Please correct me if wrong...

installed....played with....went back to Fission.

This ROM definitely has some cool features, but I really don't think it's super different enough to justify the permanent switch.

Also I kept getting force close errors in the settings. I downloaded the market app and managed to at least get into the liberty settings menu, but i still got some other force close problems.
For people who are constantly tweaking their phone this ROM is perfect because of the sheer amount of options it has built in to make constant tweaking a breeze.

However for someone like me who just wants to get their phone set how they like it and then just leave it be, it's probably not worth the switch from Fission.


(also i did a data clear 3 times before installing, then another factory reset after installing....still no ditching the force close errors)

What FC's I have yet to get one.... did you install any themes? if so please let me know so I can test and make sure they are not causing issues.

I got FC's when trying to open liberty settings. Then i installed the market app and suddenly the settings menu worked fine.

I'm a LONG time RubiX fan and you have converted me! Love it. I am wondering something tho. Love the app to get the update notifications (great) but was wondering if it would also tell you if the themes get updated as well, or if the other themes that will undoubtedly pop up will get added.

For 1.0 this is REALLY nice.

Any suggestions?

Metamorph is still not holding my battery mod. Any clues there? Busy box is installed.

I suggest flipping back any number of pages (as it likely has been answered on EVERYONE!!!)to get this answer or read the add-on post. It really isnt too hard to spend 1 minute reading....
