Acctually I lied. It worked like a charm. I just had to re do everything I did already because I screwed up around the time you did this. Thanks again man. You're a rockstar.

Thank God, That was going to drive me nuts. Now, I am not on the rom but I thought people where saying that the backlight wasn't working? Is this on the keyboard itself?

Yes the keyboard backlight doesnt work all the time. If you open it and toggle brightness it comes on, but you have to do it every time. Unless someone came up with a fix i missed.

I played with this quite a bit and I have found two problems that matter to me.

1) Facebook sync - Can't get it to sync with contacts. Doesn't even give you an option to in facebook settings. I'm gonna to "syncmypics" as a workaround.

2) I use Handcent and I love how I can get to my Handcent mailbox right from the lock screen. Only problem is...when I get a new message, it seems to always show "1" or whatever my unread count is until I go to the regular messaging program and mark the message as read.

Alright, I saw some values for backlightkeyboard in where the haptic feedback was. They were all 0's, so I changed them to be the same as another froyo rom. Anyone want to test it out?

I was wonndering about the messaging thing. Didnt think to go check the stock app.

I think that is what fixes it. I always go into handcent first, read the message, and then lock the screen. When I unlock, it still shows 1, so I go into the stock app, open that message, back out, lock the screen, wake it up, and it's not there anymore.

I guess the lock screen is linked with stock app. it be nice if handscent can do the same

GTalk working fine for me....I have this Rom running very smooth on stock launcher with flashed dialer fix....still no keyboard light though ! bummer

Had to run some errands... will try this when i get home....

In tried modifying the eri.xml last night to get verizon wireless in the notification drop down, but sent me into bootloops. Not sure if i did something wrong but just an fyi.

I have faith in our developers. If they put their heads together they can come up with a monster rom. Besides the rom is still new. Im sure they can figure it out dancedroid

20 pages in less than a day. With this much buzz somethings gonna get done with it. Plus its so close as is. It shouldnt be too hard to iron out the little kinks left in it.
