But... this is amazing how this ROM isn't even done, and it is like the most popular ROM at the moment. Ha ha. Giggles. I mean Google... Google giggles with goggles.

Here it is. This has the haptic changes in it as well. Needs to be changed to framework-res.apk. Let me know how it goes, as again I am not on the rom today. This is untested so you are doing so at your own risk.

Had to run some errands... will try this when i get home....

In tried modifying the eri.xml last night to get verizon wireless in the notification drop down, but sent me into bootloops. Not sure if i did something wrong but just an fyi.

Man, I forgot all about the eri.xml. Look for that to be added today.

Tried the haptic framework and no go. Bootlooped again. I moved it over using root explorer which usually works. Any other ideas?

i was getting a Force close on Google Services Framework(com.google.process.gapps) and was also having issues getting Google Talk to load/ sign in.. Since i cleared the data i've had no issues.

I don't recommend this but some people are flashing this overtop of other roms without wiping or restoring contacts with third party apps. After that they get fc's. This will fix it.

Also the framework-res.apk posted a couple posts back bootloops so don't use it.

I turned off the sync between my gmail account and facebook account so nothing would be permanently deleted. I then cleared cache, data, and manually forceclosed the framework app and also the contact storage app. After, I turned the sync on for both accounts and everything has been perfect so far.

Its about time something diffrent came out other then themed roms with diffrent apps in them. Who made this rom anyway?

Ok creatures... I've found some amazing advancements... that is probably not that amazing, or advancing... but here goes...


When first installing the ROM without the phone fix, you can open the dialer, and punch in a number... but you probably will get a force close when pressing a number, right? Fine...

Make a contact and type in a full string number in the format of "555-555-5555". Clicking on the contact will cause a force close. Instead try holding the contacts name, and choose "Call Contact"... what happens? Force close!

Now go back and create another contact... but instead make the number "411", you know the information number. Save the contact. Now click on the contact... Amazing, huh? You can view the contact and its options.

Now, within that contacts options, click and hold on the option with the messaging icon. Choose the "Call Contact" option.

Now... click on that option... and behold... it calls! Fully functional!



From what I'm getting here... this may be some type of character string problem? Binary input string problem? Something about the input of numbers, and execution of these number strings are crashing the phone. The phone itself is operational... but the dialer (separate in a sense) is causing conflict.

I just exported my contacts to the SD.. no issues so far.

Boy, I sure hope that someone sees my post above and pats me on my head and feeds me a treat for my findings, or I'm gonna have to destroy something pretty and innocent... like this baby butterfly rabbit.

Ok eeaarrll posted a while back that his dialer was working. But he has a partitioned sdcard. If I partition my card should I reflash the ROM?
