Ok everyone...finally figured out how to fix the dialer force closing.

1. DO NOTE WIPE before installing this ROM. The only way to get the dialer to work is to install over an existing ROM.

2. Once you boot up you'll get a ton of force closes...this is ok.

3. Go into settings --> Applications --> Manage Applications --> Select "ALL"

4. Scroll to Contacts Storage and clear data for that app

5. Scroll to Google Framework Services and clear data for that app

6. Done. Everything should be working now.

Would installing back over this rom be considered an existing rom since I have the clear .zip dialer installed already and all my contacts are working now.
Do you think it would work if I flash the Miui rom over top of the Miui rom then clear data and framework?

No, you have to install over a working ROM. It worked for me installing over BB V0.5.

One issue I have noticed so far is that I am not getting my gmail.

those who got this to work did you get pictures when u synced with facebook or what? i selected to sync only gmail contacts with facebook pictures, and instead i got all of my facebook friends with phone numbers in my contacts list..

Clear data for gmail. That solved my email

thebowers, great fix for the keyboard....question did you figure out what's up with the settings>Sd card & phone storage force closing? I have read alot here and seems no one has looked this one yet...

No... not for everyone. Already tried it. My phone works but trying the one upon opening fc on first touch, then will work after that. Plus like 10 people have told me this and its not helping (no offense)>

same here, my facebook contacts synced and now they are gone and anytime I click on the accounts button in contact settings I get a force close on process.acore

have you tried using the app syncmypix? it works for me
