Well I got up to page 50 of this thread (work keeps getting in my way, and everytime I come back there's a gob of new posts) Anyhow I've got to go change my Avatar now 'cause someone was offended..........back later. And you guys that are working on this are doing grrrrrreat.

i finally got the MUIU backup app to request root access but it only backs up wifi seeting the FCS right when it starts to backup apps

Two things,

1. Still, has no one found a solution to the force closing MIUI MMS app for me and others?
2. Has anyone figured out how to turn off/remove the dial tones from the MIUI Phone app?

When receiving a phone call. The information at the bottom, eclipses the width of the screen. This is of course after translation. Perhaps shortening it?

Is anyone else having problems with the MMs app and dialer I installed over UD 8 like everyone else. And at first it worked great but then it stopped working and got the problem I used to get before UD 8 like FC on opening mms and dialer… Any idea on how to fix this. I didn’t do a wipe of any kind

yeah just got everything fixed.. I have native dialer, mms and facebook sync do... yay!!! its a keeper now!![

can u tell us what u did. where u loaded over or if u did a full wipe? thanks.
mine keeps FC almost everything. .

I installed over BB .5 and ll is good. phone, contacts, apps, mms. All good. Only thing is BB tool kit fc. that all i have found so far. this is a killer rom.

I addded the MIUI mms app to 4.1 last night, it's just in Chinese still. Are you talking about ringtones for the phone app or dial tones?

locations will work, but you dont need to wipe before install. wiping is what causes the problem.

Correct, I had tons of problem with locations, then loaded up SS4.8 and installed on top of that and locations working great now. Followed the install with no wipe thread
