[ROM] Zen-MIUI v2 Android 2.2 + MIUI

In a sense MIUI is pretty revolutionary considering it a Rom. It's certainly different than anything out there. I think I speak for many when I say, I hope Zen doesn't give up progress made based on actions of others. It's not something his following can work out. Hope zen continues to make progress on this rom

Thanks for the people that actually put time into this.

I enjoyed porting MIUI to my droid and sharing it with everyone else.

I was hoping to start at community project but it didn't turn out that way.

So to all those who decided to take my rom and run with it in their own threads and "developer" sections and edit a couple pngs and translate an app.

What happened? I just flashed this fantastic rom last night, and am in love. Does this mean you aren't developing it anymore?

stupid question but this is a ROM not a theme correct? theres some people on other forums talking as if its a theme.

Well, It uses CM Nightly Build as a Base. Wouldn't it be like a shell? It covers most of the original Froyo, but IMO it's just a shell. A little more than a theme. But in reality... FROYO

I dont think it means Zen is not developing anymore. I hope to hell he doesnt quit. Only thing else I would like for this ROM is the ability to update PRL and MEID...and Ill be as happy as a kit on a tit

Quick update:

There will be no more unauthorized distro's of Zens MIUI outside of Zens area.

There was a huge misunderstanding and the issue has been taken care of. We can all move on now.

Same here. Hope Zen continues to develope this. I would love to have the updated 9.30. Have used Zen's rom since day one. Didn't even bother with the others. Hope all gets worked out. I would be willing to donate for the next (9.30) version Zen.

damnit i hate when this happens... I used to flash different roms on my phone every day and now for over a week I have been running nothing but zens MIUI with the only issues being accessing SD storage from settings, *228, and facebook sync...

Zen, please dont stop working on this rom, you have a ton of people that absolutely love the work you have done. I was thinking about going in with one of my upgrades to get a new phone but because of your rom I didnt.

I think homeland security got involved. They examing the rom to make sure no spy bugs :rofl3:
