See thats the thing, I have never had a problem before. I not only cleared both caches I also reinstalled the data package as well. I tried changing it to 1 letter, my phone number, and just plain Micro.

Nothing will change with or without full or quick reboots.

Worked first try on last version. Very strange.

On a side note great job Jake the audio fix is working perfect. I have not lost media audio since installing the new package.

Try something a little smaller, then after it changes go back in and make it was you originally wanted...Sometimes you even have to add a letter or two at a time, android seems to have a problem changing out large ones but if you do it slowly you can get it to work.

Also make sure your rebooting between changes!

I'm in the same boat as Micro. I've tried changing it with all the different themes, i've tried one letter, two letters, my number, my name, etc. and it won't change, with or without any type of reboot.
I think my situation is different that Micro's though, since i'm flashed to MetroPCS and I don't ever get the Verizon Wireless pulldown text.
On the stock GB leak it said "Roaming something something" and I recall one of the previous ZombieStomped releases saying ZombieStomped, but now it's just blank, and it won't change.

Also, it doesn't work on the Droid X ZombieStomped either(for me at least)

I'm on 1.7, do I need to wipe cache and then install both the rom AND data or what?

^If already on 1.7, wipe cache and dalvik cache, and install in clockwork with no wipe. If not, install regularly.^​

If you're on 1.7 all you need to wipe is the cache's

You only need the data portion if you want to use the customizer options.

I've never heard of any way to remove wigets from the list, other than uninstalling the app that put them there, though that's not what you'd want in this case anyway. I don't really mind having random widget choices in there, besides when initially setting up my home screens, I rarely add or change widgets around often enough.

Anyway, installed ZombieStomped 1.71 and so far so good...HOWEVER, while I had previously changed my Banner text in the Customizer perfectly easily, I've tried 3x now and rebooted after each try, even once manually and not letting the Customizer do the rebooting, and it always goes back to saying "Zombie Stomped" instead of my custom text. Changing skins and boot animation worked fine, but the banner text is staying the same for whatever reason. Not a big deal, as I'm obsessed with this ROM and love it, but will this be addressed in an update to the Customizer? And, on that note, how will updates to the Customizer happen exactly?

One odd problem I've had twice now, on different ROMs so I think it's an intermittent upgrade issue...

I have an Exchange email account set up on the Email app, and twice now (I believe after a ROM version upgrade each time) I've had a weird state where I have email for the exchange account but lose contacts and calendar. Removing and re-adding the email account doesn't help - in one case it wouldn't let me re-add it, in the second case I could re-add it, but it still didn't allow contacts or calendar to populate even though they were selected on the settings screen.

Both times I had to wipe data and re-set up the account, unfortunately.

Anyone else seen this happen w/exchange email accounts when upgrading ROM versions, and if so, find any other solution other than wiping data to resolve it?

Yeah - I noticed the same thing - it does seem to be snappier than 1.65 (which was no slouch).
