[ROM] ZombieStomped 1.7 (.595 DX GB Motoblur build)

I liked the look of the new blur from the beginning so ZombieStomp is definitely for me. It seems even zippier than Apex, and with ADW launcher EX my phone is so amazing!

WELL....I just had to try Apex out....and that didn't last long. I was installing some of the blur apps back on the phone. My phone got jacked up...so I sbf'd, and second mistake, used the new .596, that screwed my phone up!! I had to actually call tech support and explained that I finally took the OTA and that my locked up....he helped me unlock it, so then i sbf'd to .340 and started all over and ended up with ZS 1.7 back on me phone!!

I did notice something though....When i install certain themes, like bluebread, i loss ability to use the cardock app properly.

anybody else had that issue....?

Car dock works fine for me. Desk dock does as well.

I might check out CM when it comes out, but I'll probably come right back to ZS. Great performance and just the right amount of blur.

Hey, I'm back after using this ROM for a few days and it is AWESOME! Just the right amount of blur, amazing performance, and stellar battery life. I haven't gotten this good of battery on any other ROM.

Well I finally got ZS installed. Fair warning to those that use it. Evidently My Backup Pro IS NOT working on ZS. Everytime I used MBUP to reinstall all my apk and data I would get stuck at the boot logo and have to SBF all the way back to Froyo. Happened 4 times now. Used titanium backup and worked flawlessly.

I'm gonna try to install this over this upcoming weekend but I had a quick question or two. Is it safe to install over 596? I've read a couple posts of people saying they did it but I haven't heard if they encountered any problems or not. I haven't been able to find how to get to 595, should I try to get there then install. I mean, I might as well try 596 first since I'm going to have to sbf anyways. Just looking for a second opinion or some guidance, thanks.

.596 is basically the same thing as .595. I see no reason why it wouldn't work.

To get to .595 though, you have to sbf, then install the .588 files, then install the .595 files. Its not hard, just time consuming.

I'll try 596 first then. I forgot to ask with my last post but I've read that ZS is Blur and that it is almost 0 Blur. Can anyone clarify which it is? I've seen more posts claiming Blur. Thanks.

It has Blur. It runs way better than the stock version though

Just to let y'all know, after data wiping the other day, my battery life is even better. My phone has been on since 8 am and I have made several phone calls, a bunch of texts, emails and web browsing, and my battery is still at 80% as of 6:20 PM. I love this rom

Same here...been hoping new links would be posted for days. I have enough bandwidth on my VPS to throw up a temporary mirror if someone who has the files would send them my way. Running 1.6 and really looking forward to 1.7!
