Root on Incredible 2

so that's the new one & I can't root it? right?

and unroot for that matter? i activated the new one and realized it was the 2.3.3 they sent me!

I just got off with verizon, and they offered no help for my bluetooth problem!
so I am calling HTC to see what they say!
Gee- Verizon just says "that's not right!" LOL
it cuts off my bluetooth & goes to handset when i get a text while on a call!

I am just going to keep my rooted phone and go with it!
after all it's all set up! and i don't want to wait for the new root!
and the problem is still there!
UGH my brain hurts!!!

If u can somehow unroot your phone I would do it and keep it unrooted and return one of them. If you keep it unrooted you know everything will work. If you decide to stay rooted you will have to do some research in the other hacking threads and on xda forum. Not all the answers will be in this thread for root related info. And like I said a while back the best thing to do when you have problems with a rom is to find a new one, wipe and then install and start a fresh, or reinstall the rom again after a wipe.

Are people having issues with Gingersense on their rooted Droid Incredible 2's? I have not had any issues w/mine since I rooted/installed Gingersense. In fact it fixed things like the compass not working correctly...

I also called Verizon about converting back to 2.2 and the lady on the phone said u can do it but u will half to go into one of there stores and they can flash it back to 2.2, so I'm thinking if they can do it there as got to be a way we can do it also
