rubiX Focused 1.9.7, back and better than ever

MTP USB Device still fails to install as it did with every previous version of Focused I've installed.

This isn't specific to Rubix Focused because Liberty and Fission also did not install the MTP USB Device properly, nor will any blurless rom from what I understand...

I am almost positive Rubix Blurry will work, I just love blurless so much more...

Under settings wallpaper.... All the previews come up blank. Does this rom come with no preloaded wallpapers?

If you want the same functionality, grab Motorola media connect. I thinkthats what its called. It'll let you easily sync media with its program or windows media player while connected as usb mass storage or charge only (I think) .

So I ran the throttle mod, no surprise Verizon was throttling me. Went from .36mbps to 2.25mbps. Nice! I have noticed that my streaming on Rhapsody has sucked lately, here is why!

Running smooth, and this version fixed my old camera and video problems I had on 1.9.5. I am not sure on the alarm clock issues as last night for some reason it rebooted into bootloader and didnt wake me this morning :/

And where can I find this throttle hack?

Wireless Tether

I seem to be having an issue with Wireless Tether on this ROM. It shows that it is ready to tether but when I try to connect my laptop to it for some reason it just keeps trying to connect without any success. Anyone else having an issue with this?

Edit: Nevermind I'm just not quite recovered from last night yet. I figured it out.

Blurry notification bar on focused??

Running rubiX Blurry 1.8 currently. One thing I like about Blur and Blurred ROMs is the white notification bar.

Is there a way to get this on rubiX focused? Either via a theme or metemorph? Has anyone done this?

After re-calibrating the overclock the phone will reboot if plugged into a computer via USB. It then loses the settings it just calibrated and goes to - what I assume is - the factory 1100 high overclock setting.

Otherwise it seems to work great, although I'm also not a fan of the check boxes vs the stock Froyo ROM check boxes.

One boot is normal I believe, then it's set. Are you rerunning the calibrate?

Just a handy suggestion...

Drod, do you think you can start posting file sizes with your updates like maderschramm did so we can verify after downloading? Maybe we can help prevent flashing corrupt downloads... Just a thought...

I do like 1.9.7 but I am having a problem. It will happen no matter what app I am using or no app at all. The phone will freeze and then reboot on it's own. This happens several times each day. I did not have this problem on 1.9.5. I did do a data wipe/ factory reset, wiped the cache just like I did before. 1.9.5 was rock solid with ZERO problems for me. Anyone have any ideas?

Anyone having constant FC with ADW Notifier? It works and shows the notification over the phone/sms/email icons, but kicks 2 FC notifications with every call/message received.

I would start looking at 3rd party apps. Task killers, memory managers, new Launchers, overclocking, etc.
