rubiX Focused 2.0.1: UPDATED

Hey mcp770! How do you remove the clock? What tweaks do you do?

I use THIS to remove the clock from the status bar because I use the HTC like clock with weather via Beautiful Widgets. Other than that I undervolt my cpu using dx overclock app by jrummy, using ULV 1.150 which is all my new X likes unfortunately. Jrummy also updated the app to support the new scaling governors and I like conservative so far. Other than that I used to change the sysctl settings to those posted HERE but Drod has these set pretty sweet this go around so no need. Then its just a matter of the occasional theme changes and tuning. Hope this helps!

Thanks!!! :)

Sorry guys I am having a n00b moment....

I am currently on Rubix 1.9.7, but Android version 2.2.1. Now I am fairly certain that 2.3.340 OTA is not shown under Android version in the About phone section, however, I cannot seem to find it. I am not wanting to brick this phone, but I am fairly certain that I am on the correct build as I have had all Rubix roms up to 1.9.7. Can anyone give me peace of mind before I flash this?

Baseband version:
BP_C_01.09.07P
Kernel version:
2.6.32.9-g55626e1
w30471@il93lnxdroid08#1

That is the baseband and kernel for 340 so looks good. If you are in doubt for future upgrade look for the full 2.3.340 sbf file on xda to return to stock or use the maderstcok340.zip that can be flashed like a rom in clockwork.

Is there a way to see if it is applied? After I installed the thirdeye theme phone is acting alittle slugish...

forgive the ignorant question, but does this rom (or any X rom for that matter) have the ability to change songs (while the screen is off/locked) using the physical volume rocker - like a lot of D1 ROMs have? I had a D1 forever, and loved that feature... came in super handy while running or driving...

Heres the scripts...
Not a biggie, but for those who want the scripts info from 1.9.7 which is still present in 2.0, here is the list:

SCRIPTS: Credit to Fabulous, JRummy, Sephtin and myself.
adblock: block or view ads
apps: run the script for directions. If you choose restore, you must reboot after for it to take effect
backup: backs up all of your user apps. backup -bk is the correct way to run the script
calc: remove/restore the calculator
carhome: remove/restore the car home launcher
dxeye: remove/restore the DX LWP Please note that this is removed by default, and placed in /data/rubix run the script to restore.
email: remove/restore the email app
fixperm: fixes permissions (credit Koush)
gallery: switches between the 2D (credit to Cyanogen) and 3D AOSP Gallery
genie: remove/restore the news/weather app
office: remove/restore QuickOffice: Please note that this is removed by default, and placed in /data/rubix run the script to restore.
sys: write the system read/only (-ro) or read/write (-rw)
zipalign_apks: zipaligns all the apps in system. Unnecessary since this is ran on every boot!

Spoke too soon. My phone is actin weird today. Lagging alot. I flashed alot last night though working on themes so that may have something to do with it.

Saw mention of a patch. What does it do?
From Drod2169...

The patch handles my scripts differently. Instead of having my sampling rate and up threshold tweaks for ondemand in there, I added it to gov, and added functionality to 01cpu in init.d to choose which script to run on start up.
Just open the file via root explorer, set ondemand=0 and conservative or interactive=1 at the top instead
