[RUMOR] Motorola Solana

Okay, I cleaned this pic up a bit. If we look at the back, where the black circle is, we see that cleft clearly does NOT extend all the way to the end of the phone. Now if we look at the purple circles, these look like speaker grilles to me. The White circle, I don't know. Any ideas, folks? Almost look like softkeys or possibly branding.
If the screen moves I'd almost bet it slides in and then the part nearest those grilles goes down slightly while the part near the "rear" goes up like a pocket PC.
They look like touch capacitive buttons

Seems like there is an easier way to make a tablet and laptop combo, maybe like a slider that then can be popped up? Either way, that looks pretty interesting.i bet it's similar to the tablet seen in the windows 7 cloud commercial

I know its the dell laptop. That's just the best picture I could find to explain what I saw in the original pic. The original pic shows what looks like a crease from bottom to top and then what looks like a separate screen. Just giving my .02 on what I think its gonna look like style-wise.

as much as i love my Droid x, and motorolas great sturdyness to thier handsets, if they keep locking up the bootloader they can EAD as i jump ship to a different brand.

Exactly the point; Tilt the screen out, close lid= tablet.
- open lid, turn screen in, notebook.
I _feel_ like that too, but unfortunately, I think everyone's gonna lock their bootloaders, like, until the second coming. At least on any unit you're likely to actually want.
Crappy, I know. But it looks like the writings on the wall for all manufacturers to do this. I hope we keep feeding the hackers ;-)
