S7 Edge - all notifications turn on screen!

My phone all of a sudden now wakes the screen on every notification. Text, email, even on Spotify when a new song is played. I haven't downloaded anything new in the last few days. Has this happened to anyone else recently?

I haven't found this happening on my droid z force currently, pico1... Welcome to the forums, Nice to meet you!... Maybe someone else has noticed this or can help you find out how to fix it... Guys! Anyone out there having this problem with notifications?

No, only a ringtone and the green light when I receive a notification.

Well was trying to avoid it, but I did a factory reset and that seemed to have fixed the issue. For now.
