Samsung Galaxy Note 5 May Include An SdCard Slot Afterall?!!!

Like I said, I've been around. I had the G1 and loved it. Had Moto Blur on the Droid X and there were things I really liked about it. There are things I like about my Note 4's Touchwiz. I just know I'm ready for a change next time I upgrade. That's still at least a year out for me though anyway. I keep a device for around 2 years on average these days.

I'm not seeing a huge difference in the Note 5 versus the Note 4 other than a different build quality. The cameras are the same, the processor will most likely be a bit better, but unless it ships with 4GB of ram I don't see myself looking at the Note 5.

They haven't switched on 64bit either so maybe they will do that with the Note 5?

I'm thinking the GF will get her Note 4 upgraded.. lol
she's already eyeing it and SD card will seal the deal..
gotta get that Note 4 prepped for sale...

well my Note 2 is on it's last legs... I'll probably get this... even if I can't root it... I don't particularly like the idea, I don't use root that much, mostly just for app backups and such... so not having it won't be the end of the world.

Given that I ran with Moto devices for a long time, I can give up the removable battery. IF they have an SDcard slot.

I agree 100%, I can give up removable battery, I rarely take mine out unless my phone is acting up, and I got used to not having a removable battery on the razr, no SD card is a deal breaker as I have my 64gb at least 3/4 full pretty much all the time.

I think I am the only person that I know that doesn't have a beef with TouchWiz. I haven't used a launcher since the S3 which is something I would have to do on a Nexus phone.

To be honest, the updates from Google lately haven't included a single thing that I have felt that I MUST have. The only exception to that was the introduction of ART.

With all of their promises of better coding being prioritized for even better battery life getting washed down the drain with every release it seems like they are going backwards to me.

With Samsung I know what I am getting. The best screen. The best camera. The best user experience. That's why I have stuck with them.
I froze a much higher percentage of Google bloatware than Samsung because I use much of the Samsung stuff, especially S pen enhancers . No matter the phone or manufacturer though the highest percentage of bloatware I freeze is carrier based.
If I had to choose a skin it'd be Sense but I'm not loathing Touch Wiz the way I used it. It's no where near as clownish as it used to be.

It wouldn't surprise me if they put the SD card slot back into the phone. I know that the average smartphone user doesn't use a card (or if they do, it's probably 16gb anyway), but more often than not buyers are skipping the S6 for a different manufacturer.
At the same time, I wouldn't be surprised if Samsung doesn't give a rats ass and follows history by keeping storage the same as the Galaxy device from spring.

I have a LG G3. It has a removable battery and a sd card and 32gig internal memory. Very happy that I got rid of my Samsung.

My only gripe with the G3 is the camera. I love the screen size to overall build size ratio though. LG has that down pat.
