Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Officially Announced; Full Specs, Release Date & More

Jackie, as a Costco rep/manager, how do you deal with this kind of thing, after just receiving the phone?

This is why you can't have nice things.

It almost looks to have a clear case on it ... but Gorilla 5 is only screen though not back

No case, just a mini screen protector on front, kinda worthless IMO.

I don't know why Sammy won't take a cue from Moto and implement the one good feature they have with a ballistic nylon back. That would really make a Galaxy device (whether S or Note) great! Glass on the back of a device is just wrong IMO.

It's funny that we all (android owners) criticized Apple for doing it on the 4 several years back, and here Sammy is continuing to do it since the S6... But it does feel nice in the hand on my S6 and the Note 7, yet it will be covered, so what does it really matter...?

The poly/nylon/graphite fiber just feels cheaper, and Aluminum feels great, but scratches easy...

People criticized the "band aid" look on the S5, but I prefer it over glass. Easy to hold onto, doesn't scratch, crack or leave fingerprints. Yeah, with a case it doesn't really matter, but why make one more surface to try and keep clean and protected.

I don't have much of a problem with glass. My current phone has glass on both sides and I have never used a case, and have treated it with very little respect. lol Not a noticeable scratch on the thing. It was a concern I had when getting the phone, but now almost two years later I have no concerns. Now when I handle phones that don't have glass they seem kind of cheap feeling to me. Everything is relative. I'm not prone to dropping my phone, but the glass isn't any more slippery to me than anything else. I need to check this new Note 7 out... not much of a fan of the curved edge but like anything else, you just adapt.

Lol, I didn't drop it [emoji14]
It was the Costco rep, and she said they only had it for an hour and dropped it when it came out of the box...
We know about those Costco worker people ;) ;) [emoji13]
We don't work for Costco ;) :-p
