Sapphire Themes Not Installing *HELP!

So I successfully rooted to Sapphire 1.0 and applied a custom theme to the phone. Everything works great, but the them kinda sucks.

Wanted to put a different theme on the phone and for some reason the update.zip file won't install in SP. Any reason why my new theme is aborting the install? Tried ClockWork as well. Tried wiping cache.

If anyone knows an easy way of switching themes, please, do tell. :)

Thanks!

Negative. Still not working. It's weird, you see the .zip extracting in ClockWork but no update applies. Don't get it all.

RM has been giving me a hell of a time as well lately; even to make back ups. I've been flashing alternate recovery 2 or 3 times, then flashing older recoveries. Eventually it'll work for me but the process is extremely frustrating!!!
The only recommendation I have is to stay at it with RM ... but it is strange that SPR isn't working either ...

I mean, I'm not suppose to wipe it clean to install a new theme on top of another theme, right? Tried following the process on the Sapphire site, but that was a no go. Damnit.

You need to flash the "stock" theme posted on the sapphire wiki site first, to get the rom back to stock. Then you should be able to flash another theme.

I did this when going from the Droid X theme to the Black Bar theme.

Edit: This is posted on the wiki:

With this release, we have done away with the “stock” theme in favor of just re-applying the provided update/gapp update without wiping data.

Pardon my newbiness, but, just install this zip without wiping data? sapphire-1.0.0-update.zip

Refer to their wiki site (link above in Edit). They said they don't recommend flashing to the stock theme between theme changes anymore. Flash the update/gapps file instead.

I'll give it all a try and get back to ya. Thanks for the help!

Installation aborted in SP. You gotta be kidding me. This sucks.

You downloading the corresponding theme? Make sure it's the correct one. I'm not trying to talk crap, as I have made this mistake before.
