I say that because the developers of Android made a built-in task killer system. Therefore an app to perform the same job is both redundant and harmful. I don't have time to explain in depth but check out this article and holla atcha boi if you have any other questions.

Hahah that's good to know. I can't imagine what kind of setup my wife will will have when I get her an Android device...but it's only fair seeing that I have some ladies of my own on my lockscreens....

Just above the top post is a menu that says "Thread Tools". You can unsubscribe there.

this or if you want to stay subscribed but dont want the emails goto User CP at the top then on the right select edit options then you will see a section that says "default thread subscription mode" change that drop box to "no email notifications...

Personally I enjoy the emails and usually try to check them out when I see the notification. There's always a cool new setup that I may enjoy. dancedroid
