Screenshots of peoples Droid desktops?

I have a incredible that I can't activate due to vzw issues. Lol. So can I take my sdcard out of the dinc that I use and put it in one that's not activated and experiment with some roms. And when I wipe the cache and data what will that do to the sdcard or to the phone. I'm new at this.

Ah well rooting doesn't actually do much to the SD. It simply gives the OS read and write access to the /system folder and so on so that custom ROMs and themes can be flashed. So it wouldn't really do you any good to just change SD cards. By the way what's issue with the bad Inc? Bad ESN number? I've been looking for one to buy.....

It should not affect stuff like pictures,music,videos,wallpapers etc if that is your concern, wiping data and cache only affect the current ROM configuration but not your personal data.
 
Well I rooted it and the I tried flashing a rom and it completely froze and my PC wouldn't even read it so I did a claim on it. So yeah I guess the epn is bad. But knw I got it up and running but it can't be activated. Lol. It sucks.

Hm sounds like you need to flash the stock .sbf file and refresh from there. If possible move this discussion to a Droid Inc support forum. This one should suffice - Droid Incredible Tech Issues - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum
 
I got it rooted but I just want to experiment with roms on the phone that I can't use before I try the roms with the one I do use. Lol. Sorry I'm new to the droids. Just got off Blackberrys and hybrids. Lol

+1 on that bill, sometimes I feel like they will shut down this thread one of these days, sometimes we really get out of topic like now, I love helping people but questions must be ask on the right section, nothing personal snapper915 this is for all of us in general, including me. :icon_eek:
