Hm....did you restart your device lately? If you don't want to you may be able to Force Stop the Dropbox app from settings menu and then retry.

I don't know specifics about the GUI. I have seen some impressive desktops.

Since I have been around computers since before Windows or Apple, the CLI is faster and easier for me than the GUI.

Everything depends on what you want to do with your system. A lot of people will load Linux on old systems, since it is not the resource hog that Windows is. And if you have not read about it, you can dual boot a Windows box, if Linux is loaded second.

Tru dat. I run different flavas of *nux on the Lappy and always use the GRUB loader since I can customize it to how I need. I'm the same way on CLI too. Always have dat CMD or Terminal up on Win or Linux. It's how I roll.

Sweet, thanks! I just installed in a little bit ago and I have a few questions.
I've searched stuff but it's always better to talk with someone who actually has it.
I'm assuming I can't use iTunes or Safari with it?
And are there themes for it?
